I'm glad we dropped him(Demar Dorsey), he was only intrested in Michigan, USC, And FSU ; because he knew having Jonathan Dowling, Ahmad Black,Will Hill, and Dee Finley In front of him. So, he knew he needed to go to a place were he might get a chance to play. Hahaha, GO GATORSSS!!!!!!
oh ya. he wants more golden teeth, so he might sign with USC to get money for them.
- UF lost good Assistant Coaches (Billy Gonzalez, Charlie Strong, Vance Bedford & Ken Carter). Their new assistants (as of 1/29/2010) have been there for 1 1/2 months or less!!!
-Meyer isn't traveling much because his health is NOT good!!! He's just making phone calls.
Recruits considering UF: Are you stupid? Your "future" coach has bad health, your assistant coaches are "newbies" you don't even know...and...you're still considering going to UF???
I guess this is the animosity that comes with beating a Big Ten team every year in the rose bowl. At least get your facts straight though, no one that's had any connection to usc football program or university has ever been arraigned with providing monetary or any other type of extra benefits to any of the recruits or players at usc.
I know as a michigan fan you have to find a way to justify the the ass-kickings you've taken in the past by at least be accurate in your petulant bitchy comments.
What case? You clearly know nothing about either of those. Bush was accused of accepting compensation in the form of housing and other gifts from a wannabe sports agent to sign with him AFTER he enter the NFL draft. The agent had NO AFFILIATION with USC whatsoever, he wasn't a coach, booster, administrator, recruiter, nor anything that connected him the university or football program.
I don't have to make up anything, Mike Ornstein and Scott Schenter, the two accused of involvement with Bush and Mcknight, have no affiliation with the program. They were never coaches, students, booster, or administrators or any of that. Furthermore, neither of the allegations were ever proven.
I'm sorry the level of jealously and resentment you harbor, won't allow you objectively interpret facts, but that's reality. You can ignore the facts all you want it doesn't make them less valid.
its okay its better if you just not waste your time talking we all know usc is fucking cheaters and are frauds everyone knows it its not a secret anymore
Mcknight's case was even less significant he borrowed a car that was given to his girlfriend, not directly to Mcknight, by her boss that had a pre-existing relationship with her. One that predated Mcknight even enrolling at the university. Her boss again had no affiliation to the university and was actually a Washington alumnus. Neither of them were proven. The only half-legitimate thing you said was about Mayo and he had nothing to do with football. You have no idea wtf you're talking about.
It's funny you're accusing USC of being a fraud, based on allegations that were NEVER PROVEN and yet Michigan was involved in one of the BIGGEST sports scandals in the history of collegiate athletics with Ed Martin who was a Michigan booster that directly paid basketball players like Chris Webber, Robert Traylor, Maurice Traylor, and Robert Bullock. Not only that the scandal got to the point where the IRS, FBI, and US DOJ became involved and Martin was indited on FEDERAL charges.
A Michigan fan calling someone else a fraud and accusing them of cheating, is like the equivalent of Paris Hilton calling someone else a "slut". Coming from a fan of one of the biggest sluts, err frauds, ever in NCAA, it is meaningless.
You can't even legitimately refute an argument and you're supposed to be going/have gone to the University of Michigan? Ok you so you reposted the same thing 3 times... As I said before a Michigan fan calling anyone a "cheater or fraud" defines a hypocrite, Michigan's athletic department is as corrupt as any.
why do you keep replying to me ??? everyone knows usc is cheaters like I said and there a fraud both there football team and basketball team just deal with it its okay u guys had to cheat to win im sure you usc fans feel really good about it
Because you're an idiot that replies with the same exact thing in every comment without any support because you know absolutely nothing about the accusations you're making. "You're cheaters, you're a fraud". Prove it.
How many NCAA violations and pending investigations does USC have at the moment?
All things considered, I am a UT Vol and hate Lane Kiffin and would like to say he and Ed O were cheating by targeting prospects from a coachless UT weeks before signing day. Though it was legal by NCAA rules, it was still classless. As was Kiffin's departure from UT, and Carroll's abandoning USC in the same fashion. But at least they replace a classless asshole with another classless asshole.
0 NCAA violations and 1 pending investigation. Pending being the keyword.
As far as targeting recruits, when you switch schools, it happens that's the nature of college football recruiting and you're right it isn't against NCAA rules, it isn't cheating, so it isn't relevant to the discussion. When the news of Pete Carroll broke Florida, Oregon, UCLA, Michigan, they were all over our committed recruits guys like Prater, Baxter, Woods, etc. It happens every season.
That isn't really comparable. A coach recruited players, moved across the country, and continued to do so with his personal influence. Classy.
And no violations? When USC hired Kiffin, he had 6 secondary recruiting violations that he took with him. They aren't UT's violations. They are a contractual $8 million purchase of USC's.
You bought Kiffin, you bought his piety, you bought his violations.
You're obviously out of the loop the investigations already closed, the NCAA is waiting for the hearing to announce the decision. Either way the recruiting violations Kiffin made a UT have to affect on the usc program.
And Kiffin's contract couldn't be more unrelated to tuition.
WHAT?! Where the hell do you think the money for the athletic department comes from? You're really stupid.
It's useless arguing with you.
You're wrong and that's why multiple people in this one video have pointed out how ridiculous everything you have said is.
Sorry I didn't keep up with the meeting a week ago or however long ago it was, I don't keep up with classes universities and their Violations Finds Meetings.
Where does money for the athletic department come from? Not tuition, how about:
Ticket sales, endorsements, bowl payouts, boosters, retail sales, tv contracts, etc.
An $ 8,000,000 contract buy out is nothing when you get a nearly $20,000,000 payout for playing in one BCS game. Most major FBS programs pull down hundred of millions of dollars in revenue for their athletic departments.
You're right someone clearly doesn't know what they're talking about and it isn't myself.
Oh yea not to mention, Kiffin's $7.5 million dollar buyout was already paid the day he left UT by USC booster/alumnus, Jerry Buss. You know Jerry Buss, billionaire and current owner of the Los Angeles Lakers. Come on, it isn't some cheap lowly-academic institution like University of Tennessee, USC has a nearly $4 billion dollar endowment. Kiffin's buyout coming out of the pockets of students.... that's the dumbest thing I ever heard.
and you can bash UT.. but that's stupid. It's a prestigious university. Don't be a baby because you'll never be SEC worthy.
And god forbid anyone ever expect a university to spend the money it makes on something more than a couple of 2nd rate guys like Kiffin. Or maybe you've failed to read the track record.. or just his W-L record. You look stupid defending a coach with 1 year head coaching experience in the NCAA with a 7-6 record.
But again. You're right. Not every dollar is worth the same
His track record? Yes Kiffin went 7-6 ...with Fulmer's recruits. Are you that naive? He inherited a 5-7 team, brought in one of your top recruiting classes in 5 years, nearly upset the #1 team in the country in Bama, and brought you UT to a bowl game all in one year. No doubt a huge improvement from where you were and an obvious step, rather leap, in the right direction.
If Kiffin replicates the progress in Knoxville with an already established USC program, he goes from 9-4 to BCS berth.
I look stupid defending Kiffin? You look stupid condemning him, you Vols fans are so bitter about him leaving you can't even acknowledge the position he put UT in only after 1 year. I've never seen a fanbase collectively so irate and petulant in the departure of a head coach, it's pathetic. And you all justify it by attacking his capability or integrity, which in some instances are merited, but it's all transparent. If Kiffin was such a poor coach why isn't there more indifference in Knoxville?
Or why isn't there more elation? Perhaps there isn't either because deep down every last UT fan knows he wasn't a poor coach and he was on the verge of turning that program around. And having seen that and having it taken away so quickly hurt the fanbase and you all reacted, childishly at that.
He's a "2nd rate" coach and yet he just brought in the #1 recruiting class in the nation (per Rivals) to USC in 3 weeks and turned UT from 2nd to last in the SEC East to tied for 2nd in one year.
Everyone in the SEC (except maybe Gator fans) were disgusted with Kiffin's move. He made promises he never kept, he gave our school an awful reputation shooting his mouth off, left without a word before hand in about 24 hours, and left us scraping for coaches.
We are elated to have Derek Dooley, but the ends don't justify the means.
He left without a word beforehand because the whole situation in it of itself was so spontaneous and extempore that he had no choice. Kiffin didn't even know 24 hours preceding his announcement that he was going to be hired, USC was still looking at candidates like Mike Riley, Jack Del Rio, and Jeff Fisher. To condemn him for the abruptness of his departure as if he did it in premeditation is ignoring the context of the situation.
@Iamthe1andon1y hahaha whats funny is henderson wont even sign his loi because he is afraid of the sanctions and the trouble usc might get into lol hahaha its out your frauds
What's even funnier is a Michigan fan rejoicing about Henderson not signing YET, and that assuming IF he doesn't go to USC that he'll end up at Ohio St, kicking scUM's ass for another 4 years.
Even funnier is that Henderson's mom, Bree Jasper, essentially reaffirmed to the Star Tribune that Henderson will end up at USC earlier today.
Henderson's a smart kid, it's going to take the NCAA essentially putting a lifetime ban on the football program for him not to sign his LOI; that's never happened.
i dont care where he goes but like i said its funny that kids are already beginning to mention reasons why they dont wanna go to usc just yett HAHAHAHAHA
They don't want to go to USC and yet USC just pulled in the number 1 recruiting class in the country.... 5 5-star players. I'm sorry where was Michigan in the rankings? Lol, that's what I thought. And if Seantrel didn't want to go to USC he would've never committed. Seantrel's a smart kid he's being cautious, doesn't matter he'll still end up in LA.
A 13 year old that's being mentored by a quarterback guru that's molded Matt Leinart, Jimmy Clausen, Matt Barkley, and Ben Rothelisberger and he says he's already better then all of them at his age. He's produced a super bowl champion, a 2 time ncaa champion, and 2 of the #1 overall high school recruits in the country. I know you'll never have the extensiveness in recruiting because no one wants to go to Michigan anymore, but your obsession with usc is borderline insane.
@Iamthe1andon1y lol hahaha a 13 hyear old thats better than them all lol hahah now thats funny my 6 year old nephew has a arm on him and hes 8 i think hes better than all those guys too whats funny is if this kidd never grows then u have a 5"5 qb lol haha usc is morons and so is lane kiffin
Your impressions of your nephew hold no weight in the college football recruiting world, STEVE CLARKSON'S actually do. David Sills has been coached by STEVEN CLARKSON for 3 years, Clarkson also developed Ben Rothelisberger, Matt Leinart, Jimmy Clausen, and Matt Barkley in high school.
If Clarkson says he's ahead of all of those other guys when they were at his age, it's valid because he worked with them. If you say you nephew's better, you're an idiot because you have no basis for comparison.
You know, god forbid that someone gives $8 mil for scholarships. Or sets it aside for academic purposes. And redistributes it to the students by cutting tuition or offering as scholarships. But you are defending that it was a good investment because you can't draw the line from point a it was a stupid use of money to point b the money could've been used on anything else.
USC costs more than Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Cal Tech, MIT, Stanford, Duke, Dartmouth, Northwestern, Cornell, Brown, Emory, Rice, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Berkley, Georgetown, UCLA, and University of Virginia.
What does that mean? 20 of the top 25 school in America cost less that USC... who is not in the top 25. It's 26 to be exact.
It says that despite being one of the premier private educational institutions in the country, USC is distinguished in that it also has one of the top financial aid programs in the country. Over 60% of the students at USC receive financial assistance and USC guarantees to meet 100% of need-based aid. Which when all is said and done ends up more than offsetting the minor couple hundred/thousand dollars discrepancy between the other top-tier private institutions you named in the top 25.
A. Elated? He bailed 3 weeks before signing day and we didn't have a coach until 2 weeks in.
B. Ok he went 7-6 in the SEC East (3rd). With Fulmers recruits? In 2007 we had the #5 recruiting class in the nation.
C. According to ESPN USC had the #7 class.. and in any matter they aren't 1st. Florida pulled 17 ESPNU 150 players of the nation, including the #1 player in this class, thanks to none other than good ol Lane.
D. Every school has scholarships, that offsets itself.
A. So what? I understand the situation wasn't ideal, but in the long run if he was that BAD of a coach, to the extent that you keep implying, the benefit of him leaving would tremendously compensate for one missed recruiting class and his insufficiently in the long run.
B. 4-4 in conference tied UT for 2nd in the SEC East division. It was still a marked improvement from finishing 2nd to last the previous season. One decent class in '07. In '06 and '08 Fulmer's classes didn't break the top 20.
C. That's why I said per Rivals, ESPNU's rankings don't account for JC transfers, and places emphasis on quantity over quality. Not to mention the ESPNU rankings are horribly biased and often wrong. Either way a top 10 class in 3 weeks, is still very impressive.
D. Not every school has 60% of students receiving aid, USC has one of the most, if not the most generous FA programs in the country and supplies on average more compensation per student that any of the schools you named.
no you're right. None of that goes to overhead, production fees, distribution, advertising, venue maintenance, coaching staff, press coverage (or packages), cost of operations..
it's all profit, and tuition has nothing to do with it.
the fact that a university can spend $8 mil on assisting in breaking a coaches contract is an inexplicable expenditure and had it not been spent, you mean to tell me in the pool of the university's funds, that held no worth?
I think you missed the point, Jerry Buss, covered his buyout the second he left Knoxville. $7.5 million came out of Jerry Buss's pocket not the university's. Regardless even if he hadn't the USC football program annually averages around $30 million in revenue and the athletic department as a whole averages nearly $80 million; more than enough to cover the buyout. Again you're completely misinformed and erroneous in your assumption that the Kiffin buyout would have any effect on student tuition.
The only thing that's classless is your slanderous polemic on coaches because they choose to pursue opportunities that they feel is better for themselves. A coach isn't classless because they leave a school, on the contrary, it happens constantly, coaches bounce in and out of programs to the NFL and back that doesn't define their character. What's classless is the ridiculous sense of entitlement you UT fans seem to have that sentiment that Kiffin some how owed you something, when he didn't.
how about this a 18 year old man was living in a great condo with him and his family and they couldnt ever pay for the rent hmmmm wonder how that got paid for and oj mayos ass received many of benefits and wont even talk about what happend nor deny it
No 18 year old man was ever living with Pete Carroll in a condo, once again you know nothing about the accusations you're making. Pete Carroll at one point was accused of living with a female graduate student by Charlie Weis, which he later refuted and apologized for. And OJ Mayo never played on the football team. More unsubstantiated attacks I see...
i said both programs and i have mentioned this several times both basketball and usc are frauds and they go hand to hand seeing as the ath director knows of these cheating behaviors USC = FRAUD
You forgot one thing.... evidence. Everything you've tried to claim you had no idea remotely what you were talking about. You claimed Pete Carroll lived with a man and that Mcknight and Bush were paid by coaches, both you were completely wrong on.
I'll admit we had one player that made some extremely bad decisions in his one year at USC in Oj Mayo, it pales in comparison to what Michigan has been PROVEN to having done with their entire basketball program and their boosters. Michigan = Fraud.
Say what you want and just keep denying like the losers and cheaters at usc USC = Fraud and your just as big as a loser to believe and act like they did nothing wrong just like every usc fan u all are just pathetic its quite sad
yo i watch this game n lamar joyner didnt do to well he but i see he ant n the top 10 no more on espnu 150 but i hope he gets better at FSU cuz getting mossed on ant gone cut n the acc or n e were els for that matter like that n them fumbles he had got to work on that with jimbo but good luck cuz u should have came to florida i hope jordan hicks come or henderson hell both but i think its over for us with talent next year we set now GO GATORS
no dude did u see that game he drop so many balls i mean he drop alot of balls but thats just 1 game im not downing the kid he will get better he even told me his self he said yo i fucked up to today that was the words that came out his mouth but that happens when u got only a week to prep GO GATORS

yea and he probably will get paid the most money going there seeing usc is a bunch of cheating muther F******
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago
I guess this is the animosity that comes with beating a Big Ten team every year in the rose bowl. At least get your facts straight though, no one that's had any connection to usc football program or university has ever been arraigned with providing monetary or any other type of extra benefits to any of the recruits or players at usc.
I know as a michigan fan you have to find a way to justify the the ass-kickings you've taken in the past by at least be accurate in your petulant bitchy comments.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
ummm bush ??? mcknight???? oj mayo??? lol i rest my case
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
usc is a fraud bro a FRAUD make up anything u want and lie like the coaches have been doing and the pplayers have
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago
I don't have to make up anything, Mike Ornstein and Scott Schenter, the two accused of involvement with Bush and Mcknight, have no affiliation with the program. They were never coaches, students, booster, or administrators or any of that. Furthermore, neither of the allegations were ever proven.
I'm sorry the level of jealously and resentment you harbor, won't allow you objectively interpret facts, but that's reality. You can ignore the facts all you want it doesn't make them less valid.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
its okay its better if you just not waste your time talking we all know usc is fucking cheaters and are frauds everyone knows it its not a secret anymore
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago
Mcknight's case was even less significant he borrowed a car that was given to his girlfriend, not directly to Mcknight, by her boss that had a pre-existing relationship with her. One that predated Mcknight even enrolling at the university. Her boss again had no affiliation to the university and was actually a Washington alumnus. Neither of them were proven. The only half-legitimate thing you said was about Mayo and he had nothing to do with football. You have no idea wtf you're talking about.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
you can make up everything u want to but it doesnt change the fact your programs a fraud
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago
It's funny you're accusing USC of being a fraud, based on allegations that were NEVER PROVEN and yet Michigan was involved in one of the BIGGEST sports scandals in the history of collegiate athletics with Ed Martin who was a Michigan booster that directly paid basketball players like Chris Webber, Robert Traylor, Maurice Traylor, and Robert Bullock. Not only that the scandal got to the point where the IRS, FBI, and US DOJ became involved and Martin was indited on FEDERAL charges.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
A Michigan fan calling someone else a fraud and accusing them of cheating, is like the equivalent of Paris Hilton calling someone else a "slut". Coming from a fan of one of the biggest sluts, err frauds, ever in NCAA, it is meaningless.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
your right lol sorry that your program is full of cheaters and frauds quit crying and just deal w it
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago
You can't even legitimately refute an argument and you're supposed to be going/have gone to the University of Michigan? Ok you so you reposted the same thing 3 times... As I said before a Michigan fan calling anyone a "cheater or fraud" defines a hypocrite, Michigan's athletic department is as corrupt as any.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
why do you keep replying to me ??? everyone knows usc is cheaters like I said and there a fraud both there football team and basketball team just deal with it its okay u guys had to cheat to win im sure you usc fans feel really good about it
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago
Because you're an idiot that replies with the same exact thing in every comment without any support because you know absolutely nothing about the accusations you're making. "You're cheaters, you're a fraud". Prove it.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
Prove it?
How many NCAA violations and pending investigations does USC have at the moment?
All things considered, I am a UT Vol and hate Lane Kiffin and would like to say he and Ed O were cheating by targeting prospects from a coachless UT weeks before signing day. Though it was legal by NCAA rules, it was still classless. As was Kiffin's departure from UT, and Carroll's abandoning USC in the same fashion. But at least they replace a classless asshole with another classless asshole.
kylematheney 2 years ago
thank you
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago
0 NCAA violations and 1 pending investigation. Pending being the keyword.
As far as targeting recruits, when you switch schools, it happens that's the nature of college football recruiting and you're right it isn't against NCAA rules, it isn't cheating, so it isn't relevant to the discussion. When the news of Pete Carroll broke Florida, Oregon, UCLA, Michigan, they were all over our committed recruits guys like Prater, Baxter, Woods, etc. It happens every season.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
That isn't really comparable. A coach recruited players, moved across the country, and continued to do so with his personal influence. Classy.
And no violations? When USC hired Kiffin, he had 6 secondary recruiting violations that he took with him. They aren't UT's violations. They are a contractual $8 million purchase of USC's.
You bought Kiffin, you bought his piety, you bought his violations.
Your information is extremely inaccurate.
kylematheney 2 years ago
Lol, last time I checked recruiting violations weren't contractually transferable, but ok...
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
you really are a fool. It was a form of wording to point out how stupid the hire was.
It was an $8 mil fine to pick up Kiffin from UT for breaking his contract (feel sorry for USC students for having to pay extra tuition for that).
The violations belong to the coach, and Kiffin is the one under the microscope. Not Tennessee.
And I'm pretty sure they'll add complement to the already on going investigation at USC.
Be a fan boy all you want, it wont change the facts.
kylematheney 2 years ago
You're obviously out of the loop the investigations already closed, the NCAA is waiting for the hearing to announce the decision. Either way the recruiting violations Kiffin made a UT have to affect on the usc program.
And Kiffin's contract couldn't be more unrelated to tuition.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
WHAT?! Where the hell do you think the money for the athletic department comes from? You're really stupid.
It's useless arguing with you.
You're wrong and that's why multiple people in this one video have pointed out how ridiculous everything you have said is.
Sorry I didn't keep up with the meeting a week ago or however long ago it was, I don't keep up with classes universities and their Violations Finds Meetings.
kylematheney 2 years ago
Where does money for the athletic department come from? Not tuition, how about:
Ticket sales, endorsements, bowl payouts, boosters, retail sales, tv contracts, etc.
An $ 8,000,000 contract buy out is nothing when you get a nearly $20,000,000 payout for playing in one BCS game. Most major FBS programs pull down hundred of millions of dollars in revenue for their athletic departments.
You're right someone clearly doesn't know what they're talking about and it isn't myself.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
Oh yea not to mention, Kiffin's $7.5 million dollar buyout was already paid the day he left UT by USC booster/alumnus, Jerry Buss. You know Jerry Buss, billionaire and current owner of the Los Angeles Lakers. Come on, it isn't some cheap lowly-academic institution like University of Tennessee, USC has a nearly $4 billion dollar endowment. Kiffin's buyout coming out of the pockets of students.... that's the dumbest thing I ever heard.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
and you can bash UT.. but that's stupid.
Not every dollar is worth the same
kylematheney 2 years ago
His track record? Yes Kiffin went 7-6 ...with Fulmer's recruits. Are you that naive? He inherited a 5-7 team, brought in one of your top recruiting classes in 5 years, nearly upset the #1 team in the country in Bama, and brought you UT to a bowl game all in one year. No doubt a huge improvement from where you were and an obvious step, rather leap, in the right direction.
If Kiffin replicates the progress in Knoxville with an already established USC program, he goes from 9-4 to BCS berth.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
I look stupid defending Kiffin? You look stupid condemning him, you Vols fans are so bitter about him leaving you can't even acknowledge the position he put UT in only after 1 year. I've never seen a fanbase collectively so irate and petulant in the departure of a head coach, it's pathetic. And you all justify it by attacking his capability or integrity, which in some instances are merited, but it's all transparent. If Kiffin was such a poor coach why isn't there more indifference in Knoxville?
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
Or why isn't there more elation? Perhaps there isn't either because deep down every last UT fan knows he wasn't a poor coach and he was on the verge of turning that program around. And having seen that and having it taken away so quickly hurt the fanbase and you all reacted, childishly at that.
He's a "2nd rate" coach and yet he just brought in the #1 recruiting class in the nation (per Rivals) to USC in 3 weeks and turned UT from 2nd to last in the SEC East to tied for 2nd in one year.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
And as far as "acting childishly" at it...
Everyone in the SEC (except maybe Gator fans) were disgusted with Kiffin's move. He made promises he never kept, he gave our school an awful reputation shooting his mouth off, left without a word before hand in about 24 hours, and left us scraping for coaches.
We are elated to have Derek Dooley, but the ends don't justify the means.
kylematheney 2 years ago
He left without a word beforehand because the whole situation in it of itself was so spontaneous and extempore that he had no choice. Kiffin didn't even know 24 hours preceding his announcement that he was going to be hired, USC was still looking at candidates like Mike Riley, Jack Del Rio, and Jeff Fisher. To condemn him for the abruptness of his departure as if he did it in premeditation is ignoring the context of the situation.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
@Iamthe1andon1y hahaha whats funny is henderson wont even sign his loi because he is afraid of the sanctions and the trouble usc might get into lol hahaha its out your frauds
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago
What's even funnier is a Michigan fan rejoicing about Henderson not signing YET, and that assuming IF he doesn't go to USC that he'll end up at Ohio St, kicking scUM's ass for another 4 years.
Even funnier is that Henderson's mom, Bree Jasper, essentially reaffirmed to the Star Tribune that Henderson will end up at USC earlier today.
Henderson's a smart kid, it's going to take the NCAA essentially putting a lifetime ban on the football program for him not to sign his LOI; that's never happened.

Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
@Iamthe1andon1y lol hahaha a 13 hyear old thats better than them all lol hahah now thats funny my 6 year old nephew has a arm on him and hes 8 i think hes better than all those guys too whats funny is if this kidd never grows then u have a 5"5 qb lol haha usc is morons and so is lane kiffin
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago

But you are defending that it was a good investment because you can't draw the line from point a it was a stupid use of money to point b the money could've been used on anything else.
kylematheney 2 years ago
and to put an exclamation on my point...
So explain why that is if you please.
kylematheney 2 years ago
It says that despite being one of the premier private educational institutions in the country, USC is distinguished in that it also has one of the top financial aid programs in the country. Over 60% of the students at USC receive financial assistance and USC guarantees to meet 100% of need-based aid. Which when all is said and done ends up more than offsetting the minor couple hundred/thousand dollars discrepancy between the other top-tier private institutions you named in the top 25.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
D. Every school has scholarships, that offsets itself.
kylematheney 2 years ago

Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
no you're right. None of that goes to overhead, production fees, distribution, advertising, venue maintenance, coaching staff, press coverage (or packages), cost of operations..
it's all profit, and tuition has nothing to do with it.
the fact that a university can spend $8 mil on assisting in breaking a coaches contract is an inexplicable expenditure and had it not been spent, you mean to tell me in the pool of the university's funds, that held no worth?
kylematheney 2 years ago
I think you missed the point, Jerry Buss, covered his buyout the second he left Knoxville. $7.5 million came out of Jerry Buss's pocket not the university's. Regardless even if he hadn't the USC football program annually averages around $30 million in revenue and the athletic department as a whole averages nearly $80 million; more than enough to cover the buyout. Again you're completely misinformed and erroneous in your assumption that the Kiffin buyout would have any effect on student tuition.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
The only thing that's classless is your slanderous polemic on coaches because they choose to pursue opportunities that they feel is better for themselves. A coach isn't classless because they leave a school, on the contrary, it happens constantly, coaches bounce in and out of programs to the NFL and back that doesn't define their character. What's classless is the ridiculous sense of entitlement you UT fans seem to have that sentiment that Kiffin some how owed you something, when he didn't.
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
how about this a 18 year old man was living in a great condo with him and his family and they couldnt ever pay for the rent hmmmm wonder how that got paid for and oj mayos ass received many of benefits and wont even talk about what happend nor deny it
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago
No 18 year old man was ever living with Pete Carroll in a condo, once again you know nothing about the accusations you're making. Pete Carroll at one point was accused of living with a female graduate student by Charlie Weis, which he later refuted and apologized for. And OJ Mayo never played on the football team. More unsubstantiated attacks I see...
Iamthe1andon1y 2 years ago
i said both programs and i have mentioned this several times both basketball and usc are frauds and they go hand to hand seeing as the ath director knows of these cheating behaviors USC = FRAUD
MICHIGANallDAY2 2 years ago
You forgot one thing.... evidence. Everything you've tried to claim you had no idea remotely what you were talking about. You claimed Pete Carroll lived with a man and that Mcknight and Bush were paid by coaches, both you were completely wrong on.
I'll admit we had one player that made some extremely bad decisions in his one year at USC in Oj Mayo, it pales in comparison to what Michigan has been PROVEN to having done with their entire basketball program and their boosters. Michigan = Fraud.
