  • i fed this guy a fruit jelly on a whim (as substrate for sap?) although i don't know what they eat in the natural environment.

    just appeared to lick the surface, savouring the grape flavor.

    i found it funny to note that sharp and strong mandibles (jaws) could not cut the elastic mannan jelly.
