God this movie sounds awful. I don't plan on seeing it ever, I would hate to tarnish the name Buffy in my dvd collection. Im gunna stay away from this one me thinks.

I've never seen this all the way through. Only about half of it when it was on TV when I was a kid, but I've always wanted to see it all the way through.

Joss Whedon put out a comic book version of the movie, based on his ORIGINAL script rather than what we saw in the movie (which was apparently quite different from what he had originally intended). Far superior to what wound up on screen, from what I've heard, and well worth tracking down a copy.

I love the show and didn't mind the movie too much but then again I can pretty much watch to worst movies and still be entertained. Great review mate.

The movie is really dated, like Bill and Ted dated and it's supposed to be a bit over the top. Definitely not the greatest, but also not a waste of time. Fun to watch, if it randomly comes on tv or something.
