@verbalswordsman Unfortunately it is a form of religion, the rituals of the 'Holy Royal Arch' confirm it. Occultism is still a form of religion. The Brotherhood by Stephen Knight is a fantastic book on the subject from a man with no religious denomination. They welcome people from all forms of religion into their society, and most see it as a compliment to their own belief system...that being said, there are many who leave because of the religious implication's it imposes, my Dad is one of them.
