He was my teacher in theology for a couple of years in elementary school, back in the 90s, and a lot of the values he taught was ingrained in me, as I'm sure it was for my other classmates. I remember that he was a very fun teacher and made jokes even when we were being naughty. He's done a lot of good where he is now for sure.

They are from the Eastern Rite Churches that are in communion with Rome, or they're formerly a Priest in the Anglican Church...
During the 1st Millenia of the Church's existence, they do have both married and celibate/monastic priests!
It is only during the the Early Medieval Period, due to aristocratic families that are entering the priesthood for POLITICAL PURPOSES...
