I love the book from start to end but the only thing that bothered me was that (spoiler) Connor got Rolands arm at the end. But now that I look at it he will always be alive with a guy he hated. So I guess in a way it's irony.
when I was read Ronald's winding it really made me laugh when he told the doctors and nurses to all go to hell. But when I found out Connor broke his hand and got Ronald's hand with the tato of a shark I was speechless.

@stormmoss u should keep and open mind cuz brain surgery is not yet good anoff and think about it if some one gets part of ur bain its going to be yours not theirs and anything could happen this is one of those things tht doctors would say "we really dont know what will happen." I loved the book, it examined the issue without getting too preachy about it. Hell, it really didn't support either side to begin with. It even defends ITSELF halfway through the book.
The fact that it tolorates both sides and even that either could be valid while at the same time showing us an exagerated but not completly implausable result of intolerance and failier of empathetic logic (EG examining the points of an opponent) is the real genious of the book.

This is my favorite book of all time and I hate books lol. I'm glad *SPOILER ALERT* Connor, Risa, and Lev didnt get unwound. Roland deserved it though. Its so weird how they keep you awake during that. I really hope theres a sequel. The ending was kind of a cliff hanger! Lots of unanswered questions at the end.
Overall though, the whole book was amazing. From page 1 to page 335.

That's great! Everlost is about to two kids who didn't survive a car crash, and now are stuck in a between life-and-death world, along with other kids with stranded souls. And anyone who stays in one place to long sinks to the center of the earth. It's a really good book, I recommend it. I'm thinking of doing a trailer on it sometime.

I loved the book, I give it a 10, but that's my opinion. It's basically science-fiction and takes place in the future, but you don't have to be a sci-fi fan to like it.
I agree with prettybeachgal. I love it, too. I checked it out at my school library because a friend recommended it, and to tell you the truth, I don't want to return it. ^_^'
If they make the movie I'll be completely ecstatic.

Ronalds unwinding was funny, sad and twisted really.
I didnt even like him but felt a little sorry for him. He was getting taken apart piece by piece.
I like how this book very much and i couldnt stop thinking about it. All the characters are awesome (with the exception of nasal boy and ronald)

that part was the most intense part ever! my jaw was open the whole time he was in surgery! i can't believe they make then stay awake!

@HinataMafiaGoddess thats so sad and funny at the same time when roland got unwound!! :( its funny tho cuz if you listen to what they are saying its funny cuz she was takin to a head then the nose up then the eyes up then the for head with no scalp then she stoped talkin but the doctors were talkin and then he was just a brain!

i love unwind so much!!! i hope they really make a movie out of it. and a part 2. even if i didnt actually see conner and hayden, i pictured they were hot and brave. id rather die whole that in pieces.

it was around 1 oclock am and I had to go to school the next day, I had to wake up at 5 am to catch my bus, I couldn't put the book down, I finished it in a day, I was crying at the end too, anymore books like this?? My friend told me about the Hunger Games, I need to go check that out too...

Cool but you just took all the words from the summary on the book, and would i rather die or be unwound, um neither, if i couldn't just avoid it die, unwondment all most made me puke and i was just reading the book

I just finished this book and it was amazing! I couldn't put it down!!! But now I'm struggling to find a book thats a good read to follow it. Does anybody have any sugestions? I've already read The Twilight Series, The Host, and The Hunger Games (which were all amzing and I highly recomend all of them) Thanks for the help!

Would i rather die or be Unwound? It depends. You have no idea what happens to you after you're unwound...I'd say I'd rather die. Who wants to live in a divided state?

@hoshikisu93 Id rater die, because i know that people need body parts sometimes, but i dont think its such a good idea to unwind people. you never know if the peson had a skin diease that the juvy-cops dident know about. good question though, and great book.

I loved the book, I give it a 10, but that's my opinion. It's basically science-fiction and takes place in the future, but you don't have to be a sci-fi fan to like it.
