honestly, I think the clips with the baby are in there to try and create another story; like the movie did with the clips of Rob and Beth going to Cooney Island. Also I've read that maybe it's there to kinda drive the point home that the Clover we see in the first movie was a baby. I'm still on the fence about whether this is real or not, though I'm hoping it is.
