  • I'm always amazed at all the idiotic, uneducated, uninformed opinions that people post. Do some actual research into a person and their business before so easily calling them nasty names. You might actually learn something in the process.

  • David Hobby is a total asshole, trust me. He is attempting to rename flash photography by calling it "Strobist" which he trademarked. Sorry David I'll just call it Strobism which is what it is actually called.

  • @tiffcooper So his evil plot is to bring attention to using off-camera lighting, helping people improve their photos, and get them to call it "Strobist"? He is an asshole!!!!

Or.... Maybe he's just a guy who spends a ton of time helping people and your the asshole for criticizing him for the name of his blog? Yea, that's must be it.

  • @OtakuDepot No David Hobby is an asshole like I said. He wants people to think he is the father of off camera flash. David Hobby did not come up with the idea but he sure does everything he can to project that false fact. He was somehow allowed to trademark the term "Strobist" which is just as ridiculous as someone being allowed to trademark the term "guitarist".

  • REAL Free energy technology exists! But there are very powerfull forces that want to supress the technology,Get a real free energy motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Big change is comming soon!

  • Omg i love the end. Haha. Priceless.

  • well very good

  • The empty space at the end of him pushing buttons (probably not knowing how to turn off the camera) is hilarious.

  • That was his Pocket Wizard not firing at the end. Ironic, huh? LOL Great laughs!

  • @ColtJustice It's obvious you don't understand speed lights and the tiny fractions of a second it takes for them to fire. The chance of filming a speed light going off and actually capturing it on camera is maybe 50/50.

Speed lights have an incredibly short, perhaps 1/1000 of a second. Video is usually 24 or 30 frames per second. Even if he was using something like a monolight, like an alien bees unit, with a much longer flash duration it would miss the flash at times.

  • He needs to watch a video on how to keep audio levels consistent throughout a video

  • well, actully, hes fucked up the sterio shit

  • ffs, how about having a levelled volume on the narrating and the interview. had to turn the speakers up and down to compensate for the difference!

  • Geez, calm down..
