Nice job on the talk, I would like to see a few of these built so we find the best one. The only thing I think we should do is put the generator at the top because of all the hot air pushing up would be better then the generator at the bottom, If we put the generator at the bottom then all we have is a vacuum pulling through the blades. I have been look at all the Solar tower clips for a few years now but yours is the first Triangular.
@joemc111 I f you look at Enviromission's rendering of the tower, there is a venturi effect right at the base of the tower, which will accelerate the air speed many times. Power in a wind varies as the cube of velocity. For example, going from a wind of 10 miles to 20 miles increases the power by 8 times. If you mounted a generator after the base, you would need bigger blades to get same power. Triangular was only to illustrate free standing. I would have dirigible holding up fabric tower.
Solar tower technology is so simple and effective its GENIUS. There is one being built in Arizona right now. USA! USA! USA!
