Please take a look around you, have you inquired how many strays are suffering in Denmark?, how many people who don't neuter their pets abandon unwanted litters in the countryside?, how many cats there are thrown into locked pig farm buildings, how many cats are left behind when people move house or get bored looking after them?
I work with a local cat refuge in North Jutland. The situation is unmanageable for us and peoples attitudes regarding cat welfare is (on the whole) disgusting.
One could also say; unless one is faced with the reality of animal cruelty, one may be easily misled as to how civilised (or not) one's culture is regarding animal welfare.
If Danish people valued animal rights, there would be more laws to prosecute those who are cruel and/or irresponsible.
The threat of taking a Danes penge, would I'm sure, work wonders....
I know kristy. She is funny.

@kapkone Ofcourse you would think the problem is huge when you work at a cat refuge, you see a lot of that stuff all day..
Like a cop see lots of disturbing things each day, that does not mean the country is full of it. Comprende?
Yes sure there is some of it going on, but to generalise Denmark as a not-caring-for-their-pets-society is wrong.
Kunne ikke finde andre ord for det..
