  • The garbage can scene I spontaneously re-enacted in an improv workshop at Cwmbran Woodland Players, an amateur theatre group workshop I was at last week - a kid in the group decided I had to be chased by bees. Unfortunately I ad libbed a line in that the bins were made of plastic, and the bees were immune to Raid. A few people got it! Not my concept, blame it on the young kids in the group who wanted to be bees and not say any lines!! The woman in charge liked my ad libbing though!

  • WTF? They only found ONE DEAD BEE? Considering bees die after they sting . . . not these ones, these are superbees. Must be all the plastic they are eating. Incidentally, Arthur Herzog's 1974 novel did explain this concept much more convincingly and in more detail than this movie version. The book is a great read even now.

  • One thing I love about Irwin Allen's later films is that he casts Big Name Stars in all the roles, including even if their on screen for about 10 seconds

  • 9:23 Honey bees, they're serious FUCKING BUSINESS!

  • Michael Caine really does get a tad mela-dramatic, doesn't he?!
