Dan Aykroyd is a good friend of mine, and we all know no one will replace John Belushi, but since his brother James on this clip has taken over Johns place i think its great that he did this, so his Brothers place never dies.

Dan went with James to Johns grave the other day, he showed me the phots of Johns grave, i love the words on it saying, I MAY BE GONE BUT ROCK N ROLL LIVES ON!

John Belushi is my favorite ALL time actor...I have been obsessed with him for years since I was little when my dad intorduced him to me ... from SNL to Animal House to the Blues Brothers... I think it is nice that Jim has carried his borthers legacy. I think it's also nice that it looks like John is up there so it makes the feeling come back as if John were there... I also think it makes Dan akyroyd feel better to be with someone again who is almost john himself

I was lucky enuf to see Steve Cropper and the MGs play in Australia early this year. Found out theres a livestreaming allmemphismusic that plays this and Jerry Lee Lewis and all that great music. Steve Cropper still rocks out better than almost any guitarist, him & Duck Dunn. & Dan & Jim ARE /were musicians

the biggest thing about the blues brothers was that they only started because they couldnt get enough musical acts for sat night live, so john and dan came up with the idea of filling in when there was no one booked, and it just snowballed from there

The big deal with the Blues Brothers originally was that it was packed with some of the best musicians. For one it was loaded with Stax guys Cropper and Donald Dunn on Bass. The whole Sat Night Live horn section with Lou Marini on sax. Tom Scott on tenor sax. The Drummer was from the Bar-kays, Paul Shaffer on keys, and many other great players. That's why it was a big deal. Another cool thing about it was that it helped old blues dudes get their songs played again, and that meant some money.
