Great movie, good message, but would I live on Pandora? No. They show it as being "beautiful" by the natives that are use to the death, and destruction of their own planet. They are evolving people, and wage war on each other, and think about it. Not just sunshine and daisies. Na'vi are rather aggressive species, think about it. There is an intruder kill it, animals that attack kill them. So in general they are like any society.

Na'vi were in no way aggressive towards each other nor the "intruders", they simply defend their home.

what war are they waging ? what animals are u talking about that are being attacked ?

I think you completely miss the point of the Na'vi culture and clearly got nothing out of the movie.

@ausvoodoo I understand the movie, but what you don't understand is the whole planet of "Pandora" is primal. I'm not saying lets go out kill animals, burn trees, I'm making a statement that Na'vi are primal species, and their life is built on survivial. They respect life, but understand how to fight, and with "uniting" the clans in the movie that meant prior that there was conflict between each clan, and likely wars. All species are violent, have been in conflict/war, and fight to survive.

I have seen this movie several times and I love it! When I go to bed I pray to God that I will be on beautiful Pandora and earn my Place among the people and with neytiri. I believe that God puts you in a place that you are happy and in your Paradise so he would put me on pandora. Sorry but this is the best score I have ever heard. From 4.00 onwards the hairs on my arms stood on end. This film is truly worth everything it gets. I hope it wipes the floor at the OSCARS. It deserves to!

The only reason why Avatar didn't win Best Picture is because it was mostly CGI. And also Katherine was the first female director, so either way she would have won.
