  • How many Watts does this thing use including the cooling fan? Please get back to me, Thank you.

  • i have a question do you still need thermal paste for this? thnks

  • this or the fx 6100?

  • @PurpleRaven224

The bulldozer look a little bad.. :\

  • is this a good processor?, thinking of buying it

  • @scrottcreek942 the bulldozer just came out. but i dont think you should buy this the core i5 2500k is faster or if you dont like intel get the amd 8120

  • Should I wait for Piledriver?? Or should I be an impatient child and buy this???

  • im going to buy it tomorrow

  • im going to buy tis

    bt nt nw.....

hope it still hv stock after windows8 release

  • Fuck the cameraman. Let this young man talk more! Maybe with his cat too!!

  • i'm upgrading my system and want to know which is better the amd fx 6100 or phenom ii x6 1055?

    Phenom ii x6 1055 $149.99

    Amd fx 6100 $159.99

  • @BARNETTFABIAN

1055T. Why? The Phenom is 15-20% faster clock-for-clock.

  • @Atheismrulez thx!

  • @BARNETTFABIAN get the last of the phenoms while u can. Something ur gonna notice pretty quick here is the FX will go down in price once the phenom stock is out. FX already has their quad cores lower in price.

  • Linus, what did you know about Malaysia?

  • Is this better than i7 960?

  • @puttesnutte208 yes but you can get better performance on the 2nd gen i5 and i7 which is slightly higher in price.

    i5 2500k $219 4 cores

    i72600k 319 4 cores 8 threads.

    hope it helps.

  • @kasumisman Thx!

  • As someone that has no experience in overclocking to safe settings nor has any watercooling systems in place, what would be the safest ghz mark to overclock this processor too?

  • At stock 2.8ghz is this fast enough to run a 6970 without bottleneck?

  • I may get this soon. :D AM3+ isn't good enough for me yet.

  • Will it all work together nicely

Case - Coolermaster HAF 922 Mid Tower Chassis

GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti SuperClocked Ed 1GB GDDR5

    Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX

    RAM - Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 4GB 1600MHz PC3-12800 CL9 DDR3 Vengeance Memory Module

HDD - Generic Hard Disk Drive 160GB IDE 3.5"

    PSU - CiT 700UB Black Edition / 700W / PSU / Power Supply Unit

    CPU - AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor

  • @declanhay It will work together just fine, however, I can't in any good conscience recommend an IDE hard drive anymore. You really should purchase a SATA, unless you have a really good reason to be using IDE. SATA is considerably faster.

  • @ainsleyseth I was going to get one but i am on a £570 budget and i cant find any at the same price as this one:(

  • @declanhay Actually, my brother just found one here:

    Seagate DiamondMax 23 250GB 3.5" HD SATA300 II 7200RPM 8MB Hard Drive Maxtor

  • @declanhay Replied to your message. :)

  • @declanhay Your mother board's CPU socket is a AM3+ while your CPU is a AM3

  • @declanhay yes it will but thats a pretty powerful gpu so if it was me I'd go a minimum of 700w psu so you can add things in the future (safely)

  • @James3076081 Ok, thanks! what about this one?

    CiT 700UB Black Edition / 700W / PSU / Power Supply Unit

  • @declanhay yeah man looks good. i got a similar system and i got the thermaltake litepower 700w

  • Do you need thermal paste or anything to install this ?

  • Hey, will this fit my P5G41T-M LX motherboard ?

  • XFX HD6850 775M 1GB DDR5

    MSI 870A-G54 (FX), AMD 870 + SB850, S. AM3+, 6xSATA 3 RAID, DDR3

    Corsair 600W CX Series,

    DDR3 4GB (1x4GB) Corsair, 1600MHz,

    Procesor AMD Phenom II X6 1055T , socket AM3, 2.8Ghz, 9MB c

  • @SuperKRMAK get a 4core phenom 2....its much better than phenom 2 x6 , for games atleast (amd phenom ii x4 980,970 are great)

  • @StimmedRoach

    i buy 965 :)

    and gigabyte 990x motherbord AM3+

  • @SuperKRMAK nice

  • No Way, is that the new PNAS Edition AMD processor - oh wait !! 0:13 He said it isn't a Purple Not As Strong Edition processor - Nevermind!!

  • AMD 1100T OR AMD 1055T ? PLEASE HELP ME TO DECIDE!!!!!!

  • @VoLtrex31 Or to but Intel ? can't write it smaller lol..

  • @VoLtrex31 wich has more MHZ and which has more Power Boost?

  • @VoLtrex31 1100T

  • @VoLtrex31 That's an easy one, 1055t without a doubt since the only difference between the two is the clock speed which can easily be adjusted within bios rendering the extra cost completely pointless!!! I got my 1055t @ 3.5GHZ but can easily go over 3.8 with proper cooling and that will outperform the 1100t by far as well as some of the i7 cpu's!!

  • Well, atleast I don't need to pay extra money ($13) for a fan :P

How much power consumption is this? I'm wanting to build a computer (gaming), and I need the right power supply...

2 6950's = 650w, and how many watts is this, exactly?

  • will be cooled with Antec Kuhler h20 620 :)

  • Yeah, it has a sticker with it <3 I ordered a 1055T last night, can't wait that I can go to BIOS's OC menu with it ;)

  • Nice, awesome CPU and only $149 @ New Egg. Just bought mine and between us AMD people----->>> Right now you can get $10 off your order using Promo Code ( NEWCUSTOMER10 ) It works weather you are a new customer or not, I guess its some kind of glitch but make use of it before they catch on!!!! I know it works cuz i did it - Lulzzzzzz

  • this is the same price as the quad core black edition now. totally worth it.

  • anyone know exactly when bulldozer comes out? Thanks.

  • So this one or the 2500k?

  • @ElectricMuffinDude Well, if you want your processor NOW you could do great with a 2500k but since the BD launch is so close, If I were you I would wait alittle bit more to see how the 8150FX fares against SB arquitecture

  • @ArzenalX I think i will wait for BD for now at least, seems like it's going to be great performace for a great price. I think Intel is finally going to get som honorbly competion.

  • Lol come on man. You make awesome videos, but its pronounced like Fee-Nom, not Fenum.

  • @JasperHQ yes! do not buy the quad i have them both and its worth it :)

  • Got my 1055t to 3.5GHz easy with a Noctua NH-U12P SE2 (20c-40c, 40c max load)

  • i have the same ruler xD

  • @ThetheFactoryofPAIN ok i suppose, but in anything else, my comment was quite correct

  • @ThetheFactoryofPAIN that 6450 is such a weak card, youll have a MASSIVE bottleneck.

  • Guys, wait for Bulldozer.

  • @cwbh10 maybe, but you know the approximate worth?

  • @JasperHQ i will buy this cpu. Then in the next years are coming you won´t have upgrade your cpu. And when someone says he has a quadcore, u just say you have a 6 core cpu and will say nothing more =)

  • Are these specs good enough for using Adobe after effects, photoshop, cinema 4d at the same time without lag? Would having 8gb ram rather than 4gb make a big difference?

    AMD Phenom II x6 1055T 2.80ghz, 4gb ddr3 ram 1333mhz, 1gb amd radeon hd 6450, 500gb hdd 7200rpm, titan fenrir evo extreme cpu cooler.

    Thanks.

  • @Owenfx should be fine

  • hey one question dude please answer really need an answer

    is amd phenom ii x6 1055t is better than i5 2310 or i5 750?

  • What gives? I got a Phenom x2 555, my case sticker was way smaller :P

  • @taalasmaat i am buying a computer with 12gb ram, amd phenom ii 1055t x6 processor and ati hd 2gb 5570 graphics card is it good for gameing if not then what?

  • @TheMakaveliEye Get a ati 6850 or a nvidia 460 . If you cant afford that get 8gb of ram and a quad core

  • @Wondefullwood ?? i got it its already got 12gb ram y wud i need 8 more? and y a quad core?

  • @Wondefullwood omg get a better graphics card if you cant afford it get rid of 4gb of ram and get a quad core

  • I'm getting a PC with 8GB of ram, this same processor and a ATI 4350 with 1GB. Is it good for gaming?

  • @EpicnessPivotMaster way too old card for gaming

  • @EpicnessPivotMaster

that willl be pretty decent, but get a better video card, that card is made for watching films lool, get a 5770 or something maybe higher if you can afford it.

  • @JasperHQ depends, if you want to record the gameplay of your game, play HD video etc. at the same time, then a 6 core is probably best, but if just gaming.. quad core ;)

  • @fielfia Help me pls, im going to buy a new computer but cant decide which. Computer 1 has 8GB RAM AMD ii x6 cores pros 2.8ghz and ATI 6850. Computer 2 has 8 GB RAM Intel core i7-2600 3.4GHZ pros (turbo boast to 3.8) BUT has a Nvidia GT440. I wouldn't mind replacing that graphic card but not sure which to get out of those two. I am a serious PC gamer and i need something really good. -Thanks

  • @TheWarPlanet AMD 1055t, 8 gigs, u dont need to spend the extra cash on an intel chip if your mostly gaming. I use the 1055t oc'd to 3.2 ghz and it works great for all games. Niether of those gpu's especially the gt 440 (garbage for hardcore gaming. The lowest id go with a gpu is a gtx 560 or an hd6950 (single gpu config).I personally use a gtx 480 and it trashes everything i throw at it. (crysis 2 dx 11 ultra settings high res textures 40-50fps) dont skimp on the mobo or psu either.

  • @ttolmbrftttwtbopat Thanks.

  • If you order a box, will i automatically get the heatsink/cooler?

    Talking about w w w . mycom . n l /Product/Componenten-Processor/AMD-Phenom-II-X6-1090T-BE,AM3/282896

  • @JasperHQ even with quad core like Phenom II x4 you can play you games for 3 years no problem

  • @JasperHQ No. More cores isn't always better, since the Phenom II's are pretty weak per core. The Core i5 Sandy Bridges smoke this.

  • @JasperHQ It will help a bit this thing will last u around 1 and a half years its really good for its price

  • Made In Malaysia.... hehehe..

  • If I use this on a 125W Motherboard, would it work good? since this processor is 125W.. Would it be bad to reach the limit? :S I'm worried about random crashes because it might go above the limit or something..?

  • @THATS1CK i think it wont matter unless you start overclocking and overvolting it.

  • 0:06 "And now I'm going to be doing its little brother.." oh gawdd

  • @chadtee9001 I use the cooler master hyper tx3 (80MM fan) instead of the stock cooler and he is much cooler.

@ TheRealGolden I would buy an other CPU cooler because the stock cooler sucks really bad!

  • 13 personas fan boy intel

  • is that stock cooler good ? 60 mm ?

  • @TheRealGolden

    no it sucks

  • @JasperHQ i mean nowadays i am getting core i7 and it's expensive if i buy so only games for three year i get in motion sorry

  • @JasperHQ get the fuck out mani just was getting in tel core i7 and only games for 3 three year asshole get out

  • @JasperHQ you ll do fine with a quad core...for now at least and 1-2 years

  • @Playstation3Gamer10 If you're going to correct me, please at least get your spelling correct. It's through not throught

  • Oops... I bought a heatsync as well xD

  • i have all 6 cores running at 3.78Ghz :D

  • This is My CPU !

  • Nettt upgrade! :D :D cool!

  • With I believe... ughhhhhh, it's 941 pins...

  • @mitko1251 941 on the motherboard but only 938 on the phenom

  • Is it good for gaming?

  • @MrGeek1337 It's good but, it's intended to pepole who needs to open files faster..

  • @MrMultiLol But i will be able to play like CoD MW2 and Black Ops right? omg, hope i didn't screw this up :(

  • @MrGeek1337 Ofcourse you will be able to run it! . my AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Proc. 4200+ 2.21Ghz can the the Black Ops but with low FPS... i'm going to buy AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 Quad Core Proc. 965 3.40Ghz for my birthday.. (getting money from parents :P).

but, can i ask you what kind of video card to you have, how much RAM.. etc'.

  • @MrMultiLol i got, Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 GPU, i think i have 4GB RAM

  • @MrGeek1337 It will run perfect ;)

  • @MrMultiLol Are you sure? :p cus when i bought it, it was a DeadSpace 2 Edition, and DeadSpace 2 has pretty good grapics! :p i hope it will run all the good games 2011 :p thanks btw!

  • is a black edition?

  • is this good for gaming?

  • @bowdude25 Probably one of the best in the AMD line. I'd get the 1075T if I am into heavy gaming. Not that I'm not. xD

  • very well done unboxing

  • Buying a barebone kit with this cpu in it clocked to 4 GHz.

  • which one should i choose,

an i5 760 or this one??

also, do you guys know if it fits on the asus m4a89gtd pro motherboard?

    Thanks

  • DUDE DON'T TUCH IT LIKE THAT !!!!!!!!!!!

  • do they have for socket am2 or am2+ ?

  • @jockeyhanes Its working on some of the am2+ boards ; )

  • this pcu beats the i7 930 in some benchmarks

  • Comment removed

  • lol i have an i5 650 and it sucks!!! i gonna buy a amd 1055t... but is it possible to find it in a BLACK EDITION? (1055t)

  • Hey is this procesor better than the Pentium 4 3.00 GHZ ? Plz answer i need to know.

  • @No4al You must be really bad with computers. Yes it is I would say 100x faster then that old ass cpu. And im not just saying hypothetically, its a fact

  • @COLDICEPro hey i know not that very much i just started and you should know when you started you didnt know this much about computers and i right it because i need to realy fast and i didnt had the chance to walk or a store of something i know allot about pc but that much like you guys and i am realy happy with youre fast reactions

  • @No4al lol? i lold hard :)

but its ok, pentium 4 is the biggest crap , we have 2011 boy

  • @No4al

lmao you just looking at core speeds this cpu has a much bigger cache and also more cores.

  • @No4al Obviously. My Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.0 GHz smokes my old PC with the same aformentioned Pentium 4 processor.

  • if i had a phenom 1055t would it bottleneck if i got a gtx 570 gpu??

  • @justinroxu Not at all.

  • 939 pins not 941

  • Aren't you the guy from college humor?

  • U look like my brothers friend is your name Morgan?

  • i will buy a phenom! intel is much to expensive

  • im gettin this: AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 3.0Ghz 9MB AM3 125W

  • the way how she says processor bugs me

  • @owenowen1000

    shut up

  • i love how the chip is virtualy not packed at all and the heat sync is wraped up like royalty.... amd you got it wrong.

  • 1:39

Very nice,I like it!(drops it away)

  • If I OC the 1055t to 3.2 GHz will it be virtually the same as the 1090t minus the locked multiplier (1055t)? I want the 1090t but it's price jumped on newegg to $275 and the 1055t's specs are just about the same except the 1090t has an unlocked multiplier and the 1055t has a locked multiplier.

  • @starwarsfan76 My 1055t is OC'd to 3.76 Ghz already without any effort at all!

  • @sh4rkbyt3 so this cpu is good for gaming & multitasking??

  • @Thet3 Absolutely! Most OC the 1055t at 4.1 Ghz where as the 1090t I've seen most at 4.3 to 4.5 in a few instances. The best bang of your buck is the 1055t!

  • @sh4rkbyt3 3.76Ghz...is it on stock cooling?

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven No, that was the first thing I got rid of and it never even saw the processor except when it was packaged in the box together. I initially bought a Noctua NH-D14 but my RAM (G.SKILL Flare) was too tall because of the heatfins on the RAM so I sold the Noctua and went with the Corsair H70 and it does the job perfectly. It's basically sealed watercooling with none of the watercooling maintenance. I definitely recommend it!

  • Mine came with two case badges (:

  • I wish intel's heatsink was that fancy ;p

  • I didn't expect him to look so cute after hearing that horrid squeaky voice. Was cool, though(the processor) :D Damn me not having a job :o I need a gaming rig so badly t.t

  • Just got this bad boy today! :) I have this with a Nvidia GTX460, 6gb DDr3 Hyperx Kingston RAM. Black Ops runs at 1920x1080 with everything maxed at 80-91 FPS, WoW in windowed mode in middle of Orgrimmar at 30 FPS all maxed out, COD4 250 fps solid, errr that's all I have tested so far. Def worth is guys theres nothing this thing cannot handle 6 cores of absolute rape! Send me a msg if you want more details! :D

  • pro-sessor

    nice

  • Waited a few days and finally this CPU arrived. Installed it and tweaked it to optimal settings and so far my conclusion is that this CPU sucks.

It's no better than my 4 core that this was suppose to upgrade. Maybe software don't fully utilize 6 cores yet. If this is the case I'd say stick with the quads with top GHZ for now until things get better with multi core.

My games still run better on my old 3.5 ghz 4 core. This CPU is officially fail in my book.

  • @cyberhmoob Do you know how threads work? :-p

  • @Ke3per88 Apparently you don't if you bought a 6 core and expected it to do more for your gaming without knowing ANYTHING about it.

  • @cyberhmoob You're comparing Apples and Oranges. 6 cores WON'T get used by ANY of your games because they're not programmed for it yet. Try reading ahead of time. Where it will come in handy is if you're in the middle of gaming or some CPU intensive app and you want to run more apps at the same time. The additional 2-3 cores will come in handy and will allow you to do so, all at the same time.

  • @cyberhmoob Your conclusion of the CPU sucking is ignorance on your part for not informing yourself and you expecting the processor to magically do something your games won't allow it to do. I doubt you even use 4 cores that often (if ever) so why buy a 6 core exclusively for gaming? It's for multitasking as well as gaming but don't blame the processor for your failure to do research.

  • @sh4rkbyt3 Don't go around blaming people for being ignorant because many of us NON computer guys go by what's suppose to be the next latest greatest thing and some of us thought the more core the better. In this case the 6 cores are inferior to the 3-4 cores running at 3.5 ghz. What more can I say. My fault? Not.

  • @cyberhmoob LOL are you for real? Don't blame you for being and doing exactly what I said? If they come out with a car that's suppose to fly and your afraid of heights are you going to jump on the bandwagon just because Joe did? And no the 6 core is not inferior, if you bothered to check anything. I can OC as good as your 4 core and get at least the same if not better FPS than you. It's not the processor it's the lack of knowledge on your part.

  • @sh4rkbyt3 Dude, AMD sucks ballz if you throw an i7 at it. That's the truth and if you're not man enough to face that fact you can just go and **** yourself.

  • @cyberhmoob So now we see the truth, you're simply an Intel fanboy which is what i thought all along. Man enough? LOL this is coming from the same moron who asks if someone ELSE understands threading and then you go and buy a 6 core processor for gaming lol. Dude please stop your making me laugh entirely too hard!

  • so you are saying this sucks for gaming right >?>

  • @grekodave If you want excellent gaming more than multi-tasking get the AMD x4 965BE, it is easily overclockable to 4.17 and higher. If you want to game AND do apps at the same time then go with the 6 core. I do some coding so all 6 of my cores get used as well as for folding@home.

  • you have uploaded 666 video spooky.@

  • i got this Processor, wanted the 1090T, but i figure that i am not really an Overclocker, so it's no use i get the 1090T which is all the same as 1055 except Unlock Multiplier and 400MHz higher clock

  • i installed this on my pc and it's said it is only 800 mhz any tips?

  • @bambinosto It's called cool n quiet. It clocks down to save power when idle.

  • "And a phenom II case badge, yea, I like it"

*throws badge off to the side*

  • From an unbiased standpoint. AMD processors are more practical due to their price. Intels processors are slightly better but not worth the price difference. Nvidia gpus are more stable and currently rule the market in performance althought they are slightly more expensive than Radeon cards. Overall. Amd wins processors for price, and Intel wins graphics for stability at a reasonable price. Anything else you say in response will probably be brand loyalty ignorance. Thank you and have a nice day.

  • @JINAR15 It's depends one what the person needs and can afford, current Intel architectures perform much better then AMD's and with a price to match. AMD has the price for performance segment locked down, though they may not perform as well as Intel they come cheaper in price with adequate performance. Some want a lot of raw power so they drop the cash and for Intel, while some do more simpler tasks and go AMD.

  • INTEL,AMD who cares,AMD is the the best, they make graphic cards so they will kill intel, intel is dead since it was born!!

  • And AMD is way much cheaper.

  • @NAHLASAMA i bought a athlon 2 x4 620,and omg it runs so great any game,with 9800gtx+ and only 2 gb of ram!!!

  • @NAHLASAMA I think Intel will still be around for a while. Intel-based PCs are found in just about every school and business environment rather than AMD. AMD is popular in the PC gaming community.

Intel's obviously losing out because not many people are going to pay $1000 for a Intel 6-core but it's not going to hurt them.

  • @NAHLASAMA I have both system and I would disagree. My intel cost me a bit more but it's by far faster, more stable & the memory is FASTTTTTT! If you OverCLock both the AMD is dead. i7 is FAST!

    Dead? I wouldn't say that.

  • Intel has the best, I agree. but with a hefty price tag most ppl will just settle for a dual core.... While AMD has sweet spot.. Thats what keeps me interested at AMD
