I loved this film. I saw it last week at the Santa Cruz Film Festival. It was one of the only movies of late that made me tear up.. and I hardly ever do that.

disappointed ---- at the diminshed involvement of harold leventhal in film---- played a materially greater role in no direction home the dylan film--- when in reality played a great role in the lives of guthrie weavers and seeger---- someone edited out leventhal out of this jim brown film---- no values

The film will also air on PBS as part of "American Masters" on Feb. 27th 2008 and will be released on DVD after the air date. A more extensive version will be released on DVD in the spring of '08.

I had the privelege of interviewing William Eigen right after this film hit the Tribeca (?) Film Festival and he was very excited and enthusiastic about it.

Now having seen the trailer I see why.

I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.
