Listen to Tad, Gruntruck and even early Soundgarden and you'll see Grunge is really just a branch off of Metal.

His mother bought him the gun he used to kill Darrell and the Marines kicked him out because of his mental issues also. He was what they call "bipolar." I've know a few that had been diagnosed with that problem and they usually are quite crazy if they don't take medication. Darrell was a friend of mine and we who knew him miss him dearly.

Honestly people, Scott Ian is a highly respect musician, Anthrax pretty much influenced a lot of people but were more 'underground' than bands like Pantera/Megadeath/Metallica which makes Scott a bit more accessible than some. He was a peer of all the bands mentioned so it's no surprise, to me, to find him on these things.

Anthrax toured extensively with most bands.
