This app crave is so overrated man. Most people don't use 90% of the applications they download. I believe one study said the vast majority of apps are in use by less than 5% of users after a few days.

I have both players. Zune needs to increase screen size to 3.5 or more. Also needs to add external speakers, and improve browser if it wants to challenge I pod.

I have a smart phone that has the ability to use pics, apps., etc. When it come to sound quality, my vote goes with the Sony with the Zune coming in a close 2nd. The Ipod might be the winner with the overall media browsing capabilities (Sony coming in last out of the 3), it just doesn't come close the decades of quality Sony has to offer. If you want an overall media experience go with an iPhone, android, or whatever your taste, however if you want a quality Mp3 player go with a Sony or Zune.
Well i dont need either because i have an original zune and all i need it for is music. My android phone can do everything else, especially since its one of the galaxy s phones. PSP is only better if you jailbreak it. That way you can get homebrew apps/themes/games. But the official games are really good too. If you're a gamer, get a PSP.
The only thing the iPhone has over the Zune HD is it's larger screen(better for web browsing) and Apps. But Zune HD has enough user made XNA games/apps to keep me pleased.
I agree with XSuperTortugaX, what is wrong with a generic mp3 player? i have a Phillips Go Gear Aria 8gig and it works great for me, now when i got it the software sucked so i just Fat32 formatted it, and did a factory reset and i copy and paste my songs in there now and it works great, and it works with mac, windows and older computers (my old compuwiz envision runs it on DSL Linux and it does just fine). Seriously give some others a chance, and besides not everyone always needs fancy stuff.

@mrsporeking I totally agree, though I have to admit I might get a Ipod Touch 4 Gen, next year. The new display and HD recording is worth the extra $50 this time, though Im curious how the next Zune will be like.

PSP is only better if you jailbreak it. That way you can get homebrew apps/themes/games. But the official games are really good too. If you're a gamer, get a PSP.

The only thing the iPhone has over the Zune HD is it's larger screen(better for web browsing) and Apps. But Zune HD has enough user made XNA games/apps to keep me pleased.
And the Zune HD is frakking sexy.

I agree with XSuperTortugaX, what is wrong with a generic mp3 player? i have a Phillips Go Gear Aria 8gig and it works great for me, now when i got it the software sucked so i just Fat32 formatted it, and did a factory reset and i copy and paste my songs in there now and it works great, and it works with mac, windows and older computers (my old compuwiz envision runs it on DSL Linux and it does just fine). Seriously give some others a chance, and besides not everyone always needs fancy stuff.

This is so fun listening to bias/fanboyism. Choose an mp3 player based on what you need, not what other people say. I chose zune because I do not need a ton of apps distracting me and I need a highly advanced way to organize/buy my music. Why'd you get an ipod/zune?
