Actually a lot of that is just cold air rushing back into the exhaust and cavitating as hot exhaust pushes it back out. If will definatly do it worse if its running rich but its more of a bang noise each time than a rumble.

its called un-burnt fuel flowing into the exhaust my 8v did it until I chipped the ECU
