Free energy has been here all along ,But the big oil corporations don't want that technology revealed,Get a REAL working magnet motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,The revolution begins!
We teachers use TV when we lack time, support or ideas. As an idealist, I see it as failure but I concede that used sparingly & responsibly, it probably does little damage, given the context & age of the children.
In Sweden, many pre-schools & primaries have "no TV here" as a selling point. It shows the staff are creative, imaginative & responsible individuals who want to broaden the minds of the kids - not narrow them, as Baby Einstein has been proven to do.
Ryeporridge, sometimes parents lack the same things (ie, time, support and ideas). Parenting is hard work. Sometimes you need to put your baby down so you can do something. I would rather let it watch a bit of B.E. than leave it on it's own crying or feeling neglected. That is just as damaging to it's emotional development.
When children watch TV in school, they're probably bored off their little heads. What a terrible idea for a lesson - watch TV... As if kids don't have enough of that at home. If a teacher shows a video like this, it will do damage - to the teacher's professional reputation!
OMG - not more of this bilge!!! Guaranteed to make your baby HATE television & HATE YOU for making her watch it!!!
All the research shows that Baby Einstein & other "educational TV programs" have a profoundly negative effect on children's cognitive skills, mental & social development.
Parents, don't kid yourselves - keep your baby away from the TV.

Wikipedia's article on "Baby Einstein" exposes how damaging these products are.
Parents - junk the TV & take your child with you to the loo, the laundry, the kitchen or wherever - he or she will learn so much more!!!
