I was standing right behind the camera man during this interview at D23. Afterwards he signed a couple of things for me. Then we stood there and talked for a good 20 minutes. So sad.....you will be missed.

On April 11, 2010, Eddie Carroll's wife Carolyn told the Los Angeles Times that he died at the Motion Picture and Television Fund Hospital in Woodland Hills he died from a brain tumor at the age of 76 year so rip Edward Eleniak aka eddie carroll ( the voice of jiminy cricket )

and yes Baywatch actress Erika Eleniak is his niece.

Although he did the voice for the cricket he's not the original actor. Cliff Edwards is the original jiminy cricket. He died in 1971 and this guy took over. R.I.P.

no he's not the original voice, the man behind the original voice died in 1971 and Eddie has been the voice since then
