I was going to sew some anyway so I will send you some mesh bags. @happilyIndependent.... There are several that I've seen....large mesh, small mesh and also muslin (thin natural cotton) fabric. Which worked best for you. I've seen people use the muslin for shopping and the mesh for fridge storage. Dara, I will send you some when I make them. I'll be in touch! :-)

WOW! That celery is HUGE!! And I love how leafy it is!! I always have to search and search just for tiny center pieces with a few leaves on them. It seems that the stores don't like to sell the leafy parts, but I think they are the best. My new favorite smoothie is Banana, Strawberry, Pear, Celery (and I don't even like pear or celery on their own!!)

I'm curious what you think of reuseable mesh bags for produce? I've been using mine for six months now and love them. A quick wash in the sink after I go shopping, air dry, then back in my purse and ready to for the next trip. Also I had my first persimmon while visiting So. Cal for christmas because you make them look so yummy, it was my mission.

You have inspired me to clean up my clutter sooo much. With the Raw Balance Initiative I kicked it up a notch. I made my goal of removing 365 items from my home last year and I'm still going. The weight came off too. (25lbs) With the help of all the greens too!!! I might even go through my jewelry and move out some things too. I have to get creative with how to get it out there. I was already enjoying a big bowl of greens/salad and other goodies at night and when I learned about green smoothies, I went for it. That looks like silver sage which grows wild around here. Be sure to give a prayer before extracting it from the Earth. When you burn it, the smoke has the power to drive out any evil spirits which might be lurking in your home. The Washo like to burn it in an abalone shell for their prayers.

When I recently moved down to Reno I wanted to just get rid of everything. Except maybe a few items which I use a lot, like my cooking stuff and pull-up bar. :)
