2 things.. first of all the camera. sure thing it's a cool thing i think so to.the bad thing about it is that you don't have to use it. like. you open a door and then POW takedown on the dude in front of you. waaaay to easy. mark and execute. it's a cool ability but.

remember in the previous splinter cell games when not shooting guards and evading them was a better idea. splinter cell conviction makes fun of what real stealth should be like. REAL STEALTH IS DYING

Convictions target group was bored cod kids who have to see action happen all the time and if you have been SC fan since 2002 you know conviction sucks with its ''new stealth action feature''. And mark&execute? Sonar goggles??? A FUCKING EMP GENERATOR IN A BACKPACK?!? And the fact that sam fisher just got 30 years younger in this game are one of those features that i hate in this game.

@jorgehombre1 Yes it was a descent game but not anything what i expected from splinter cell. Story was over dramatized and you actually can run almost the whole game through just by running and shooting. If you compare that to older splinter cells, when killing people were only optional and in some cases you couldnt eaven kill anyone and mission was ruined if someone saw you. I know conviction got couple of those kinda situations but they hardly lasted eaven couple of minutes to play through.

@littlbigtree Vats. It's not. This doesn't pause the game or allow you to select specific parts. It's just a way to play through the game without having to play it.

With the exception of the tutorial and the end sequence, the entire game can be done without it. Just a more clever version of the scene skipping feature of some games.

The game is a lot more balanced when you forget they exist. I would say the same about the portable EMP but it's at least fun to use.

m a huge splinter cell and samfisher.....the storyline of the 1st three games was fantastic...only to be ruined by THE SEPERATE VERSIONS OF DOUBLE AGENT and then by ESSENTIALS...these 3 games (da version1, da version 2 and essentials) give different accounts of what occured during double agent episode which makes the storyline so inconsistent. also in conviction it was held that sam reluctantly shot lambert in DA (windows,ps3,xbox 360 version) y da fcuk wer then diff versions of da developed:-(

I loved DA, shame they've taken out all the stealth.

-Sonar goggles too unrealistic making the game too easy/noob friendly

-Using bullets should be penalised. or rewards for not using a gun

-100% stealth and 0 fatalitys (knock out melee) should be rewarded

but i guess sales are nessasary resulting in these "noob friendly" extras, so i understand them screwing over the fans, but at least reward the fans for playing it properly.

also, multiple takedowns n quick knockouts would be sick!
