  • its like i can imagine her reading a fairy tale storybook to children

  • That's an insane amount of sugar. I'd feel dirty eating that!

  • diabetes trip...

  • My God! :O Marry Me Nigella?

  • what about wood chips? :D

  • @truegore12 yes, our equivalent :)

  • Sweet Jesus, I want to marry that pie.

  • she's a very beautiful woman even if she's a little or a little more overweight. I love her makeup too. That's how a woman should look like!!!

  • Not Diabetic friendly, eh Nigella? lol

  • @ OlyMar83 Seriously, Why bother watching these videos if your going to comment like that, look how she served it, to around 5 other people at a dinner party, so that's small ish portions, and not very regular, so it's not 'diabetic' - Also, Nigella is known for not giving a shit about making everything heathy, she does do some quick healthy recipes, but she does some really nice treat foods like this, If you don't like it, just don't watch it, kkthxbai

  • Diabetic much...????

  • Ok Im officially obsessed with food lol :D

  • Looks really easy to make. However, I'd never make this pie, 'cause REFREEZING MELTED ICE CREAM IS BAD. Ice cream contains milk and eggs, microorganisms love it. Once the ice cream is thawed all kinds of bacteria start to multiply in it. Refreezing and then eating it at a room temperature will just double the dangerous microorganisms in it. Google the 'north dakota state university melted ice cream' research, it says one should NEVER REFREEZE MELTED ICE CREAM

  • @belgijka .....calm down.

  • @belgijka or maybe your stomach acid will do the job it wasmade to do, which is kill most of it. Seriously, there's enough corophagic floating bacteria that we deal with daily. Unless immunodeficient or extremely young [and shouldn't have lumpy ice cream] I think mot people are fine. Plus the floating natural yeasts that make trappist ale and natural sourdough bread hasn't killed us off yet, so I think the general population is fine.

  • @belgijka softened is not thawed/melted.

  • You can't get chocolate peanut-butter swirled morsels in the UK?! How terrible!

  • She looks like a woman who can get an orgasm EVERY TIME! I love her! :)

  • CRUNCHY!!!!!

  • sugary sugar! me likey~ =D

  • to gud

  • Shes gorgeous! And I love how shes so spoilt with the extra-fat ingredients :D Oh I love her!!

  • love her accent! <3

  • SUBSCRIBED. : D

  • her all recipes are calori bombs . she sould have been fatter ,her kids as well or regular guests of her !

  • "any chips except potato chips."

    oh Nigella, you are awesome.

    this looks really good.

  • OMG it would be a laugh to have her cook against healthy-cooking Jamie Oliver!!!

  • i would love to have this but i cant

    darrrrrrrrn it lol

  • i favorited this video <3

  • @syri

Thanks. I am American (I hate the term Yank) and have never heard of a crunchie bar. Sounds good though. I love watching tv from other countries because I learn a lot about their culture (at the time the show was made).

  • What did she call those 'biscuits' she pounded in the plastic zipper bag? Are they cookies or graham crackers? And what kind of candy bar is 'Homeycomb'?

  • @szqsk8 Bourbon biscuits and honeycomb candy bar (Chocolate-covered "honey comb" mixture) These are traditional British confections.

  • @szqsk8 think "crunchie" bars. Or if you're American and have never heard of crunchie bars, Butterfingers, only with caramelized sugar instead of peanut butter, and thicker.

  • This might even be good with corn chips. :)

  • *ehem*

you start worrying bout the sugar content here?

that's a bit of a waste of time... *chuckles*

that's right! no worries and go ahead with it~

  • PURE evil. i want some.

  • omg tat looks sooo gddd...

  • the sauce looks yum

  • What about poker chips?

  • If your kids see this oneday- you're done!

  • I wish Nigela Lawson was my mother and Jamie Oliver was my father

  • @princesstiamaria thn i will be your sister....coz i wish the same :P

  • @princesstiamaria and i bet i'll be UBER overweighed xD

  • @princesstiamaria Then your mother would be a Milf =)

  • @princesstiamaria then you'll be an obese princess haha :P

  • @princesstiamaria I wish she was my Auntie so I wouldn't feel bad about having an attraction to her. >.>

  • nigella at 2:51--"ah",,:P,,damn! haha

  • I bet guest come to her house everyday! xD

  • She seems very fond of herself

  • ... My saran wrap didn't tear straight

    *sniff*

  • i think im in love

  • u can use any kind of chips, obviously except potatoe chips jajajajajajaj

  • lmao I couldnt stop laughing when she starting beating the bag wih the rolling pin lmao

  • omg...somebody pass the insulin

  • can anyone give the exact measurements? i wanna try to make this. THANKS a BUNCH!

  • @lulumaenonaka You dont need the exact meausurements. Just make it with your heart and soul in it and it will be perfect....

  • ..yes, Nigella, because we all measure our golden syrup by 'espresso cups' not by tablespoons.

  • 01.46 We just got told!

  • Are there any good British ice cream companies or is it mostly imported?

  • @scottbaino ronaldo's , aldous, norfolk dairy ice cream, eilieens ice cream, norfolk farmhouse, andy's icecream., parravini's, hulley's, booja booja. And that's about half of them from just one county (the one im from :P) It's all good stuff, but where british ice cream really shines is the fruit varieties such as rasberry, strawberry, gooseberry.

  • @lapambo light corn syrup

  • this isnt everday food clearly, but ppl eat maccas everyday, this maybe full of sugar but i feel this is better and not as processed

  • lol vegetable box how smart!

  • and then she pulled out a bat.

  • Ok Nigella is a great presenter. The cameraman is talented. The nutritionalist who comes up with the ideas and who also does most of the prep & cooking is the real hero on this show. Well presented Nigella no doubt, but get real kids it's TV and nothing is real.

  • what is golden syrup? Honey?

  • @lapambo i tink it shld be honey

well i mean it does looks like honey to me o.0

  • @Nanoha1287 Thanks!

  • @lapambo Golden syrup is a sticky syrup made of sugar. It is very, very different to honey. =)

  • @lapambo No, it's very different to honey and I'm pretty sure it's not available in the US

  • i love it when she chuckles right before she says "just in case it isn't sweet enough" :D

  • she is such a beauty

  • I love Nigella - she makes me feel healthy

  • Its the SOUNDS that make this programme so addictive

  • i think nigella is beautiful!!! any weight at all goes to the right places...i want those curves :)

  • At 6.23 the man is so desperate to take his next mouth-full that he doesnt even finish what he's really saying lol :D

  • That's A LOT of sugar...

  • It doesn't make me happy when I see people saying she is fat, or chubby, even. I mean, who is anyone to judge what fat is? Just because there is some sick ideal out there now that every girl has to weigh like 50 lbs doesn't mean people should be adhering to it. Nigella doesn't look fat to me at all! She just has curves :) And very nice ones at that! ;)

  • any chips.. except.. potato chip.. lol

  • @keii25 so u can use poker chips lol

  • oh my god. if lust and gluttony had a baby, it would be her.

sexy, hot, talented, and she can cook sinfully, magically, delicious

    food

  • i miss her!!

  • I see that both Nigella and the man who was sitting in the table, like to use this expression "ugh"

  • holy shit. this looks amazing.

  • "nothing succeeds like excess" i love her!

  • Wait, the sauce is PURE sugar and a lump of butter?? O.O

  • @babbelknabbel25 yeah.. that's what butterscotch is.. what did you expect?

  • @fujio I did not know that eiither but now I know why I love butterscotch ^^

  • I like this receipe but will add a cake layer. This is more like mud pie.

  • she adds corn syrup to it???

  • she adds corn syrup to it???

  • she's hot

  • "milk chocolate chip, dark chocolate chip, white chocolate chip, any chips, except Potato Chips" lol....

  • I love Nigella but honestly she is twice the size she was when she started .. look at the cover of her earlier books

  • @swifty148 IS THAT a problem?

  • @swifty148 is THAT a problem?

  • @swifty148 I'd still hit it every time.

  • wow they have sweet tooth! ive made this before, it's delish! but i couldnt finish my piece lol

  • What did she say at 5:51?

A french-sounding phrase of some sort... What is it?

    Please tell me. Thanks!

  • What's funny is that you would NEVER see her kind of recipes in Danish TV... Here, it's all about kalorie counting and often recipes you would never cook.. But Nigella cooks REAL food and I love her for that! <3 :D

  • her cakes look so delicious, but I think it's WAY too sweet for me...

  • I love the way she talks!

  • I don't know why but her potato chip joke made me laugh! :D

  • @frdrcksncn me too hahahaha

  • this just came on tv i was watching it like 5minutes ago here in auckland, new zealand. Happy New Year everyone, Happy New Year Nigella :)

  • it looks oh, so, good!!!

  • I'd like to be one of her guests someday :D

  • @maasikas95

i would like to be her child:O

  • @Gargopallet16

that would be too much to ask :D

  • @maasikas95

    HAHAHAH yeahh ! me 2

  • has she got her own book, i want it if she has, any1 knows let me know, reply me, thxs. name of book etc, bye

  • she has few books out ^^ find Nigella on wikipedia :)

  • That line about potato chips just makes me cringe! I love Nigella so much though

  • Why would that make you cringe? She said to NOT use the potato chips...

  • oh get a life!

  • Fuck me that looks good.

  • Guess what i'm having for dessert tonight? :D

  • wow... im hungry now.. and horny..

  • when she ploped the ice cream in the mixer i thought it was butter and was like woah!!

  • What I love about nigela is that she truly cooks to satisfy the soul. There are enough people out there aiming at cheap or healthy cooking, why not have someone who shows us how to make the best of it when we want to indulge!

  • @AstraliciouS what about Ina Garten? She makes the yummiest stuff and it's all very fattening I mean good

  • @AstraliciouS Beautifully said! I'm new to watching Nigella. (I don't own a TV.) There's a sincere joy that emanates from her about cooking. She's an unapologetic, guilt-free eater and I think that resonates with people . I don't see the flirtatiousness that she's apparently known for. I think that's people's active imaginations. It comes across as a sincere passion for every aspect of cooking, from the sounds to the serving. She finds satisfaction in other people's enjoyment of her food.

  • @AstraliciouS

yea unfortunately she ONLY cooks food meant for indulgence

  • @AstraliciouS arrogant speaking. that's why there r too many diabete people out there ...

  • smart idea to put the junk food in the vegetable box :D

  • well she was making this for a dinner party. now if u make it all for yourself, then thats another story....

  • Rachel Ray is even worse.

  • thats really rude of u

  • Though I absolutely don't agree with what you mean to say, I do think your description of this program's target group is quite hilarious.

  • I love her recipes. I love this cake but I think it's fat and I am sure I'll gain a lot of weight after having the cake. But no doubt that this recipe is great!!

  • you won't get fat if you only have one piece of it! :) If you eat the whole cake then it's a different story....

  • this is very similar to her girdlebuster pie from the christmas book

  • I wondrer if it would work to put a cake in the pan first and freeze it along with the Ice Cream??

  • you know a layer of cake doesn't sound bad hun. That's something you may want to incorporate in one of your recipes i know you're writing this down lol.

  • Thanks Amoure. I definitely am going to try. You already know I'm writing this down lol!

  • GODDESS!

  • a man would be MORE than lucky to catch nigella's eye :D

    LOVE HER
