COOL! But you know what i want you to do? Play the beginning part to "Drum Machine". I'm sure you watched in via YouTube. Try to play all the way from the beginning to the One Minute and Thirty Second point (With the exception of the cowbell of course. OR you could get a friend to do the cowbell maybe...). I've been trying to do that part for the longest but I always get by hi-hat and kicks all mixed up. If you could do that part, I'd be so happy.

It's a Tama Stagestar, 14x18 bass, 8x10, 9x12 (I think), 16x16 (this didn't come with the kit, I traded mine with a friend's), and 5x13 metal snare. Cymbals are 14" ZXT rock hats, 8" A custom splash, 14" A custom fast crash, 18" A rock crash, and a 20" ZXT rock ride.

Ah man, I honestly don't think that lessons are very important. There's so much free stuff out there on the internet for technique, grooves, fills, etc, that all you need to do is search. Another thing is just to listen to a bunch of different types of music and play along with them.

The base of drumming is just to be mature (don't act like the lead instrument), and to learn how to keep a steady beat. Start there.
