alidunwoodie is exactly right. Newton is absolutely awesome but they completely overproduced so many of his tracks and tried to "tidy him up" too much in his videos. They could have produced an absolutely cracking accoustic album that was very simple but powerful, and instead they tried too hard to reach the middle ground by adding lots of unnecessary bells and wistles. Still a great performer though - next album will be even better!

I really love the quality of his voice, and his song writing skills are brilliant. Blink182? Completely different styles of music mate. If it's not your cup of tea then move right along.

I know what you mean, I remember watching him with a band on musicianstv about 4 years ago and his sound was pretty different, more raw but then again it was live but that kinda sound would have been cool for his album. I wonder if anyone has those videos, they were awesome.

I met him on the Radio 2 concert in London. He really rocked there and his guitaring was great!! You cn watch highlights on and bbc channel if you press the red button or watch it on the 30th of december. He was soooo coool!!

I met him the other day, while he was supporting The Fray...

he's freakin' AMAZING.

He came out after the concert and talked to a bunch of fans and took pictures and signed autographs...he's so down to earth and everything.

Oh, and he's an amazing singer, too! :P
