  • So whenever I try and record on my canon rebel t3i, it automatically stops recording even if I only video tape for 30 seconds or less, and its not a memory problem? It is an sd card format card problem? If so how do I format it I just got it and am not sure how to use it.

  • @iliketolickbackpacks I had the same problem until I discovered that you need a type 10 memory card or higher to shoot long videos. also I was told it's preferable if it was used for videos only. But I know someone that shoots videos and pictures and has no real problem.

  • @MsRHAwesome Haha....What is a 10 memory card, sorry I'm new to this stuff!

  • Cannon t3i or Nikon d5000 ?

  • @natemarauder8 thanks so much...that makes since. Thanks for taking the time to answer, greatly appreciated

  • i have the t3i with a fisheye, i love it

  • this might sound like a sillie question from all you pros, but i was wondering what is the difference between the Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Auto focus lens and Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS EF-S. I noticed the name difference at the end, one is IS II and the other is IS EF-S, is there a difference in quality, is one any better then the other etc....

  • @joliemodel No noticeable difference. The II lens is second generation so will probably have a slightly updated internal infrastructure. Nothing an amateur photographer would notice.

  • @joethetechiewiipsp thanks so much for taking the time to reply, appreciate it

  • @joliemodel No problem at all! Thanks for watching!

  • @joliemodel ive heard the reason canon came out with the IS II is because people were complaining that the auto focus was too loud in video mode, so they made it less noticeable.

  • Was this actually WORTH the money? I'm looking for my first DSLR.

  • @JohnnyBabe100 I believe it's worth the money, yes.

  • @JohnnyBabe100 totally worth it! It's my first ever DSLR and I love it :) I use both mode a lot (photography + video mode). I even bought an extra lens to work with the camera :P

  • What editing software do you use?

  • @Thomas8april For this video I used ScreenFlow, more than likely. Now I use Final Cut Pro X :)

  • what was the lens of t3i ?

  • @baroc00 18-135mm EF-S Lens.

  • i got this camera for my wife and she loves it... nice vid

  • Whats up with all this hate?! I got a t2i. Great cameras man and great video.

  • @tunderhed Thanks a lot man, appreciate it!

  • How can you call yourself a techie if you don't even know what a hot shoe is?

  • @videogeek27 I do know what a hotshoe is.

  • ure doin a camera review but u dont even know whats a hotshoe... fail

  • @ICHIGOZYODAIME Pipe down buddy. This isn't even a review, it's an announcement video. Get it right.

  • i have a question......if i get my hotshoe wet, will it b damaged from the water? i have a t3i

  • @coffieworld101 Dunno what a hotshoe is. Explain?

  • @joethetechiewiipsp its the metal thingy on the top of the camera to attach another flash to the camera

  • @coffieworld101 Oh right. In all honesty, I don't know whether it would affect the camera, but obviously, I'd try to get as little water on it as possible. A little water wouldn't harm it though.

  • @coffieworld101 It also holds external mics, etc... Anyways, after looking at my Rebel T3i, I noticed couple significant metal dots on the hot shoe...they looked like they were made as contacts for external devices, whether they are or not, I honestly don't know, but if I were you, I would definitely avoid getting water on it just to be safe.

  • @coffieworld101 I wouldn't advise it but rain damage shouldn't be to bad. Keep a small umbrella to cover you and your camera

  • I went to best buy today it's 799.00 without bundle because it's all gone from yesterday. So I bought it with 8gb pny sdhc. It cost me 888.16. Then i went home and check online. I saw the Walmart offering canon t3i with tripod with sd card with bag and with 50 bonus printout.. For only 825.00. I went back to best buy and return my purchased and then I got the one at Walmart which is much better deal. :) so happy!

  • 1..2..WOOP WOOP

  • Where do you people get the money for these cameras from?? ;O

  • @SJSkateHD I don't have the camera. Images were supplied to me for the video.

  • how much is it ?

  • @vanessaandkittens Watch the video. All information is in it.

  • @joethetechiewiipsp That's no way to respond to a viewer's question, no matter how dumb it is...

  • @SharksYeah The question has been asked many times already. I do not have the time to answer the same question over and over again. If you simply watch the video through, your question, 9 times out of 10 has already been answered.

  • @SharksYeah It's kind of common sense though. If people want to know something, they should really try watching the video again, if it isn't answered, then they should ask

  • @vanessaandkittens

I bought one yesterday for $770 at best Buy. :-)

  • @Danmusicreno $770! where do u live? is it because of the holidays, black friday, christmas etc that the price is lower at best buy or is that what best buy usually sells it for I'm from New Jersey/New York

  • @willluvsthe411 Hi there, you didn't ask me but I just thought I'd let you know I live in Vegas and the body alone is 659 and the camera and 18-55mm lens is on sale for 763 at Best Buy:) They have it on line free shipping.:)

  • @Goldenone22 O..M..G thats the best news I've heard all month! thanks I'm getting one then.

  • @willluvsthe411 They also have a bundle with the additional 55-250 mm lens, bag, and 8 GB class 10 memory card. That's what I'm gonna get! For $1079

  • @willluvsthe411

I'm in Reno Nevada. Got the T3i with the 18-55 mm lens, 8 GB class 10 memory card and filter for $770, and they sold me the Canon 55-250 mm lens for $150 (half price). I had to haggle a little bit but it was worth it :-)

  • does the lens it comes with okay?

  • @CristinaOcampo8 I assume so.

  • @joethetechiewiipsp should i get this or wait for the new one?

  • @CristinaOcampo8 The new version of this camera, probably the T4i or 650D won't be coming out for at least another 2 years, so you may as well get this one.

  • Great camera, but it isn't cheap. The 600D has HD cropping unlike the 550 which only has SD cropping in video mode.

  • I liked the video the second I heard warp 1.9 by steve aoki in the begining

  • I am into photography and prepared to spend some time with a camera to get to know it. I would take studio, creative and family photos. Also, me and my friends have a youtube channel (LIBltdProductions) and would love to have a good SLR/ dedicated video camera to open up new creative doors.

    SO HERE IS THE QUESTION:

    Nikon D5100 or Canon 600d/t3i?

  • which one would be better? the cannon t2i or the cannon t3? and is the t3i better than this 2? please answer im quite a noob with this sort of things hehehe

  • @animerocks56 If you're not specifically looking for the capabilities for video, then the T3 could be the camera for you. It does record in 720p HD, but not full 1080p HD. Both the T2i and T3i record in full 1080p HD, and internally, they are both the same - same censor, megapixels etc. The only real difference is that the T3i features a flip out display. If you're not too bothered about a flip out display, go for the T2i over the T3i. Hope this helped! :)

  • esta cámara es más grande o no? is compatible whit Mac os x ?

  • @xN1TSUG4 On the basis of using Google translate, I will answer this way: I don't believe the physical body of the camera is bigger than the T2i. And yes, the camera is compatible with Mac.

Google Translation / traducción de Google

Sobre la base del uso de Google Translate, voy a responder de esta manera: no creo que el cuerpo físico de la cámara es más grande que el T2i. Y sí, la cámara es compatible con Mac.

  • Hi I want to know does the Canon T3i or 60D overheat like the T2i???

I'm planing on getting the T3i or the 60D. But I realize no one doing those reviews speaks about these camera's being overheated. That is one bad thing about the T2i that no one is talking about, I even went to a website where a lot of professionals that are using Canon 7D is overheating.

  • @Lunerversal I don't have any problems with my T1i overheating, so I dunno whether any other models do either.

  • i just bought a canon t3i for video bt im having trouble with the night footage it looks dark and its frustrating if anyone has any tips i greatly appreciate it.

  • yes it comes with 18 and 135 mm lens and the price is $849.00 at bh photo and $848.00 at best buy

  • nice camera very cool

  • will there be a continuous auto mode when shooting video

  • @ThegreatDmarcellin I think so.

  • can you still zomo it while filming it at the same time?

  • @ChinkyDorkNV I believe so, yes.

  • @joethetechiewiipsp you believe soo?? ..you reviewing a camera u don't even own.

  • @cirusMEDIA "I believe so". It's a figure of speech. I know the T3i has zoom whilst video recording whilst in video mode because it says so in the specifications of the camera. Secondly, this isn't even a review. It's an announcement video, as any relatively smart person would be able to decipher from the title of the video. Thank you, good night.

  • @joethetechiewiipsp ...stop trying to make ridiculous excuses; it dose not make u look smart nor solve anything!! You made it clear that you do not have a strong grasp of the meaning "Review" ..no need to get angry about anything!!! ..relax dude!

  • @cirusMEDIA Once again, this wasn't a review, but okay, you know best, don't you :)

  • Would this be good for film making?

  • @FilmingIsMyLife Ohhh for sure it is!

  • wooooot steve aoki intro... subscribed..

  • HELP PLEASE- whenever i record with this it shows up in a sort of letterbox format in final cut express, how do I fix it?

  • @FastWalkFilms This is an issue with FCE, so I cannot help you as I do not use the application.

  • @FastWalkFilms Aspect ratio youtube it for fce

  • I WANT THIS .. but i can't afford brand new and don't know where to find them 2nd hand

  • @16ISMYNUMBER ebay or craiglist dear,,

  • @vickoktavian I've looked on ebay .. I don't understand craigslist (how to use it)

  • @16ISMYNUMBER ebay is more legit and safe... craiglist has risks.. be very careful when buying or selling things on craiglist because there are people there who pretend that they sell stuff, and when you meet them in person they'll either rob you or run away with your goods or money... #1 tip, always meet up in a public place where there's people.. and or security cameras lol

  • @vickoktavian Yeah :/ I'm 15 anyways so I'd have an adult with me (I can't drive (legally) if you see a cannon EOS 1100D on eBay . please message me

  • 1:07 what kind of lens is that? that looks like the stock lens that comes on with the 60d. please help me out.

  • @MikeyHazard 18-135mm

  • @joethetechiewiipsp when is the new generation of 7d coming ?

  • @1980KNIGHTRIDER I have no idea.

  • I heard the beginning of the video and thought Bloody Beetroots- WARP.

  • @HedgehogOutdoors huh?! lol

  • @joethetechiewiipsp It's a dubstep song that has that ticking clock noise in the beginning.

  • @HedgehogOutdoors ah right lol

  • @HedgehogOutdoors ahahhaha i thought that too!!

  • @Jojovader321 Well I guess someone else has good taste in music lol

  • i have this camera,,,its amazing!,,and thats all,...:)

  • Oh one more thing...if you have the shoulder strap on DO NOT pull the flippy screen out it gets in the way..

  • The T1i/500D has been discontinued...

  • @XxHardcorexxGamerxX I know...

  • went to best buy today and they raised the price of the t3i :-(

  • @rezjrprod Oh really? What's the price now?

  • @joethetechiewiipsp went up about 30 bucks or so 929.00 and they said it migth go up again...but best buy will price match..I ended up getting mine for 899 price matched then 10% off coupon I found online..they honored both then I got 20% off accessories when you buy 3 so I think out the door cost was around $1064 ish with SD card and bag.

  • @rezjrprod Wow! $1000 is a lot to spend on a camera! lol. I spent around $750 on my T1i and I love it! Are you happy with the outcome?

  • @joethetechiewiipsp yeah actually Im really happy with it. Ive taken some pretty good shots and actually booked a few jobs and Ive only had it a little over a week. pretty snazzy..Im getting a 50MM 1.8 lense today

  • @rezjrprod Is that the Macro lens? Do you have anywhere you showcase your photos such as Flickr?

  • @joethetechiewiipsp if you look at my rezjrprod page I have one slide show up..its not letting me post a link here thats 1 job I had

  • @rezjrprod Those are some great shots! Congrats!

  • @joethetechiewiipsp thanks! I have more but I havent made a slide show for the others yet..

  • @rezjrprod Cool!

  • @joethetechiewiipsp Its a prime lense I tried it yesterday

  • @rezjrprod Oh cool!

  • Overall, if you would have to choose... which would you buy.. the one with the review on this video T3i or the 60D...

  • @Luisrgc I would choose the T3i as it has great internals, the handy flip out display and a much better price point. The 60D is really crossing over into the Prosumer range, of which I am not a part at this moment in time. :)

  • @Luisrgc You said, prosumer? but lets say you do have the money and you looking for great pictures... is that a different choice?

  • @Luisrgc Yes, of course it's a different choice, but keep in mind that the 60D will not give a massive improvement in video and photo quality. If you really want to spend a lot extra, go for it! :) Please subscribe! :D

  • excuse me, i was just wondering, is there a software that allows you to do tethered shooting with the canon rebel eos 3t?

  • @psychodemon23 I don't really understand what you mean, but you do get the EOS Utility which allows you to show your camera screen on your computer.

  • i'm going to buy my 1st dslr and i think i'm close to canon. i'm searching everyday for more details and i want to know if the lens over bounces the body.i' ve read this info on a review. is it true? also, how many pics can you take with the battery? thank you in advance!

  • @optim432 Depends entirely on the lens. If you have a large lens, it is going to over balance it, but smaller lenses are not an issue. Hope this helped!

  • Is your intro music the beginning part of warp by bloody beetroots? lol

  • @Disinf3ctant I have no idea, I didn't make it lol

  • get of your computer and talk to the camera! you stop for 30 seconds every five secones!

  • @matthewstein1997 Pardon?

  • just got it and love it

  • @freakinpineapple Great to hear!

  • How long is the video clip length go up to?

  • @OhSnapitsJuzDin Depends totally on the size of the SD Card. Larger the SD Card space, the more HD video you'll be able to record! :)

  • This or Nikon D3100? I'm going to Europe this summer and want a good camera under $700

  • @ReflexEight I don't believe that D3100 has a flip out display like the 600D does. You say you want something under $700... the 600D with a 18-55mm kit lens cost $800 so you'll have to contemplate spending that extra $100. I've never used a Nikon camera, so I can't honestly say which one is better. I have, however, always been a Canon user. :) Hope this helped. Joe.

  • @ReflexEight

D600 has flip out screen, Depth Of Field Preview, external mic input, video exposure cotrols, audio volume control. & one million pixel LCD - four times more res than D3100. I tried the D3100 LCD - useless for determing sharpness. Canons put focus motors on all slr lenses about 25 yeqars ago. Any remotely modern Canon lens will autoficus on the D600. Nikon needs the AF-S or AF-I to autofocus 3100. Nikon has more old lenses that will work on D3100, but manual focus. I went D600.

  • this one or a nikon d90?

  • @freakinpineapple Up to you. I don't know enough about Nikon cameras to give a truthful opinion.

  • @freakinpineapple

I owned the D90. Loved it. Got the 600D. love it. In video D90 shoots 5 minutes of 720P video at app24 FPS. 600D shoots 12 minutes of 1080P at app 30, 24 or 25p FPS. D90 lacks external MIC input and real video control. 600D gives you full control in video & audio volume control. D90 can autofocus older Nikon lenses. 600D focuses all Canon lenses going back about 25 years. D90 lacks swivel lcd. Both are great. 600D video wipes the D90. 600D swivel LCd is VERY solidly made.

  • Advise please, which is better to buy 600d with canon 18-135 lens or with Sigma 18-200 lens, this will be my first DSLR

  • @saleemhd Well, depends really. What are the apertures of the lenses? (Aperture is the f/ number)

  • @joethetechiewiipsp thanks for your response, Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS or

SIGMA 18-200mm / f3.5-6.3 DC OS, please notice that I will be using only one lens and most of time will be using Auto.

  • @saleemhd I'd go for the Canon EF-S 18-135mm Lens then :)

  • @joethetechiewiipsp Thanks for your advise, I will buy Canon 600d with Canon EF-S 18-135mm

  • @saleemhd Glad I could help! :) Please subscribe :)

  • @joethetechiewiipsp I bought Canon 60D with Canon EF-S 18-135mm, I found it much more better to handle than 600D, thanks again for your help.

  • @saleemhd Great to hear that I was of help to you! :)

  • Its a nice camera but there doesnt seem to be very much difference between it and the 550d and 500d, There all really the same camera abit the 500d being a 15mp sensor. All i need is 24 fps on my 500d and i wouldnt need to upgrade, Canon could easily produce new firmware for the 500d, pisses me offf

  • @richie007brown I own a 500D and I love it! There is no reason for me personally to upgrade. There is a significant spec ramp up from the 500D to the 600D, but I don't think there are enough new features to warrant spending another £600-£700 on a new DSLR! :)

Please subscribe, it would mean a lot! :)

  • its 899 us on canon

  • @LetArtsLive Thanks for the info. I believe it is $899 with the T3i Body and Kit lens

  • @joethetechiewiipsp yes i didnt see it in stores yet only online

  • @LetArtsLive Yup, the T3is will start to roll into the shops after the release date! :) Please subscribe, it would mean a lot! :)

  • save and get the 7D. if you get this your better of getting a camcorder this is more of a movies than pictures. i got the 7D its better to save than forget this money making canon product.

  • Dude just get the 60d instead of this

  • @nicholas9916 Not everyone has that £120 more. If you are on budget, get the 600D. You may be a rich person who comes from a wealthy background, but not everyone can afford to go that little extra to get the device which is the next one up. I was giving my comments in respect of that, not in an over zealous way demanding that they get one camera or the other.

  • Canon are boring the shit out of me...a flippy screen. wow!

  • @Forkroute lol. I think only a photographer can appreciate how useful a flip out display can be! Please subscribe, it would mean a lot! :)

  • Optical zoom? You mean digital zoom in video.

  • @Ishcoa I corrected myself in another comment, thank you

  • @Ishcoa Thanks for stopping by! :) Please subscribe, it would mean a lot! :)

  • @joethetechiewiipsp

    Consider it done!

  • @Ishcoa Thanks man :D

  • 600D or 60D? which one is better to shot short films? HELP!

  • @MrLukasDiSparrow Thanks for stopping by. If you are just looking to shoot short films, and specifically want to go DSLR, I would go for the on budget 600D as it has that "60D" flip put display. It also takes stunning photographs, and is about £400 cheaper.

  • @joethetechiewiipsp Hey, thank you for reply! and do you know if 550D is better? or is it worth spending £200 more for 600D?

  • @MrLukasDiSparrow Well on the inside, the 550D is pretty kuch the same as the 600D, but the 600D has Digital Zoom in movie, so you can zoom in a lot more, and a flip out display, ideal for shooting video of yourself. It's really up to your personal preference. I personally own a 500D and it is great! If I didn't have the 500D at this moment, I would buy the 550D as I don't have the money to spend on a 600D.

Please subscribe, it would mean a lot :)

  • @MrLukasDiSparrow Hey, both have same Full HD, HD and SD Settings. Both have articulating screen. I would actually get the T2i if you don't want to spend a lot - same as two above, no articulating screen. Such LCD screen is useless in current Canon models with no AF in videos.

  • so wait the t2i (550d) & the t3i (600d) is the same camera? Is that what your saying? Sorry, I'm trying to understand, I'm new to the SLR world so I'm trying to get a clear understanding. :)

  • @TheMiilawn On the inside, yes, the T3i is nearly the same as the T2i - the upgrades are really only cosmetic, but there are some internal upgrades. If you're not bothered about the flip out display from the 60D on the T3i, I would go for the T2i :)

  • @TheMiilawn ok thanks, is the picture quality as good as the t2i?.

  • @TheMiilawn I assume that it is, since it has the same 18mp CMOS censor as the T2i. I expect it to be just as good, or better!

Please subscribe if I helped you out, it would mean a lot! :)

  • @joethetechiewiipsp yes you did help me out a lot and I would be delighted to subscribe :) Keep up the good work

  • @TheMiilawn Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! Have a great day! :)

  • @TheMiilawn the t3i has a New High Resolution 10x "Zoom" feature for video. This basically means you can zoom in better without getting as grainy resolution when it adjusts.

  • @iSmokeLikeBobMarley You are correct about the 10x zoom. I outlined this in the video, but the zoom is digital zoom, not optical zoom, so the further you zoom, the more pixelated it will get.

Please subscribe, it would mean a lot! :)

  • @joethetechiewiipsp well in the video i seen of it zooming in , it was pretty clear, suppose to be better then the optical zoom

  • HEy they gave upgrade to 550D just after 1 year of it's release, now i think they there will be no upgrade to 600D at least next 2years.
