I just got the Clarisonic Mia with two speeds along with Philosophy's Purity cleanser. After a single use of my Clarisonic, the brush got stained. I've been persistantly cleaning it, but it's still stained. Granted, I've only used it a week, but I've noticed really TINY bumps appearing on my face. Is it bacteria buildup? What should I do? I would love some advice from either FUZKITTIE, or an experienced user.
@RaeIzGr8 I would venture to guess that you are allergic to Philosophy's Purity. I had a similar experience with a Neutrogena wash. I would stop using it immediately and consult your dermatologist. As to the staining, I have no idea! I have had my Clarisonic Mia for quite a while now and tried tons of cleansers, but that has never happened.
your skin looks oily or is that moisturizer? I have used the clarisonic by my skin care specialist and the skin sonic. I am happy with the skin sonic I didnt want to spend the money on the clarisonic. I think you should wash the makeup off first and then again with the brush and cleanser. You have to keep rinsing the make up off the brush while scrubbing and I don't like that. Excellent review

tip to skinsonic: i would invest in rechargable batteries instead of going through lots of pairs of batteries especially if you are looking to use this for a long time! It's easy to use rechargable batteries and more convenient!

@Heretolearnful what are you talking about??? in the order confirmation email that i got from them said it takes 1 to 2 business days to process an order (meaning getting it ready for shipment.) in the shipment confirmation email i got when my order was shipped it said that the approximate shipping times are 2-3 business days in the us, 4 to 6 business days to canada and 2 weeks to europe depending on customs clearance. you expect it to take 2 days to get to europe? that's insane!

@Heretolearnful international shipping charge is $19.95 not $25. who cares how much is the post cost? a company can charge whatever they want for shipping or for their products. shipping is only part of their transport costs, which also includes handling - that's why it often says - "shipping & handling". after all, you clearly saw the charges when ordering. it's not like you paid $19.95 and they overcharged you. if you have a problem, just contact the company directly and stop complaining.

The Pretika Sonic Brush is $30 to $40, depending on the seller. It's probably the best alternative and most cost effective compared to the three you've reviewed. It's rechargable like the Clarisonic, same size, automatic shut-down after one minute and sonic vibration. The con are that the brush head is not secured to the base and they don't have a "delicate" brush. All things considered, I still think it's the best option.
Hii, my question is off topic but i really like your input/thoughts. I've been using this product called bio-therm aqua-source nonstop oligo thermal moisturizing gel for about 2 weeks now, throughout those days i noticed that i grew some small-tiny pimples and small-tiny whiteheads on my cheeks and chin. Should i stick with this product or should i get something new?

I've been using the Olay ProX for about a month now and I do feel a difference in my skin, my pores are smaller, and it doesn't dry out my skin. If you're on a budget or you don't wanna spend alot of $-I suggest the Olay ProX.
I love the Clarisonic, but some of the blackheads on the tip of my nose are still there, they are so stubborn and I'm so frustrated. Any idea how I can remove them? I'm so tempted to just squeeze them all out, but then if I do that, they will come back as quickly. Sigh!!!

Even though the Skinsonic is a lot cheaper, I'd still prefer the Clarisonic (mainly because of the 1 minute timing and charging cradle) I think this product has rightfully earned its cult status :)

Hi fuz, I don't want to sound negative, but how legit is Sirius Beauty, do you have any background info on them? . I ordered the skinsonic two weeks ago and still haven't received it. Plus, I sent them an email sometime last week and they have yet to write back.

After several days of waiting I finally got an email from them saying that it apparently shipped on April 29th when I ordered it on the 25th. If it doesn't come by this weekend then I'm seriously going to complain -.-

@justanotherazngirl I'm glad it's not just me! They should probably get their crap together and start sending out emails to people. I sent in a complaint to them and said that I will not be ordering from them in the future, so I don't know where I'm going to buy the replacement brushes (if I even like the product) but this is ridiculous. I hope they're not blaming it on the shipping company! You should definitely have yours by now. Ugh!

I was wondering why you switched from the First Aid Beauty facial cleanser to Philsophy's Purity Cream Cleanser? Did you not like the results of the FAB cleanser?

The Pretika Sonic Brush is $30 to $40, depending on the seller. It's probably the best alternative and most cost effective compared to the three you've reviewed. It's rechargable like the Clarisonic, same size, automatic shut-down after one minute and sonic vibration. The con are that the brush head is not secured to the base and they don't have a "delicate" brush. All things considered, I still think it's the best option.

Hii, my question is off topic but i really like your input/thoughts. I've been using this product called bio-therm aqua-source nonstop oligo thermal moisturizing gel for about 2 weeks now, throughout those days i noticed that i grew some small-tiny pimples and small-tiny whiteheads on my cheeks and chin. Should i stick with this product or should i get something new?

i love my clarisonic mia! i got a great deal on it which i think may still be available on the clarisonic website. For the same price at most other stores of $149 + free shipping, I also got free engraving, a full size cleanser and travel bag! I've been using the Olay ProX for about a month now and I do feel a difference in my skin, my pores are smaller, and it doesn't dry out my skin. If you're on a budget or you don't wanna spend alot of $-I suggest the Olay ProX.

I love the Clarisonic, but some of the blackheads on the tip of my nose are still there, they are so stubborn and I'm so frustrated. Any idea how I can remove them? I'm so tempted to just squeeze them all out, but then if I do that, they will come back as quickly. Sigh!!!

A great and detailed review once again ^,^ I did get the Clarisonic after your first review on it and am in love with it as well! Even though the Skinsonic is a lot cheaper, I'd still prefer the Clarisonic (mainly because of the 1 minute timing and charging cradle) I think this product has rightfully earned its cult status :)
