yep its definitely true, i have his "live at the basement" dvd and one of the special features is an interview with him, where he explains the actual ordeal and writing the song etc ..(amongst other stuff of course).

Definitely a tough old guy but a bloody genuine down to earth guy as well.

I saw an outdoor accoustic type show he did in Perth a couple of years ago and he was so happy to meet and greet etc afterwards. Pretty rare i think.

nice song..mark has a great Aussie voice . i also enjoy the acoustic side of his songs . Daytime and the dark... is a very good album of his , especially when he sings .... a few good men ?
