  • stop spreading rubbish of cause the song is an old song and if it was sang by the ndebeles in 1842 and it is now sang by malaika what do u think is the different? ndebeles are part of us south africans. learn your history and come back.stop feeling angry withoyurself and learn to be a proud african man. the way you speak about your sisters is disgusting. the reasons some of us used to call africans makwerekwere was because we were as ignorant as you are at the moment. repect yourself bro.

  • Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap! you juz donno how much i love this song! yo but on the real man southside is the best we rippin africa the only dude they gat in the west is 2face and to me his rubish! SOUTHSIDE TILL I DIE BABY! braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap!

  • just 2face from the west? maybe you need to try D'bang, lagbaja, style-plus and 419squad just to mention a few. yea south africa has got great music and am in love with this group and especially mafikizolo, but i don't believe they are still better than our naija ones. each is unigue on its own and we are all proudly representing africa!

  • I'm from Kenya and I think SA music is better than that Naija crap,I also know kenyan music is crap so big up SA especially Kwaito Kings like the Spikiris

  • Shame on you for calling Kemnyan and Nigerian music crap. You can't generalise like that - there are some great music if only you were more open to listening than to criticising.

Hongera to all of African music!

  • i ve always enjoy the style of kwaito, n i still do. dats y i wont compare inorder to criticize, cos am sure the monkey making this comment on naija music might not be african to start with.intercrazy!

  • This reminds me of my ex-girlfriend.I can relate to this song cuz i also had same experience.Malaika has been my favorite ever since.

    Hola 7

  • basically, the man is saying that the woman disappointed him and left him, because he has no money anymore. She called him names and told him that she has found someone better. So,the chorus of the song goes "my darling, u looking at me with hatred ,but you will remember me when u run out of strength (or rather when things go bad for u)". It goes on to say,u went to johannesburg (eGoli),etc. Basically the song is putting out different scenarios of a relationship.

  • can u translate this 4 me pliz
