@iAppleTechUK No your CPU will be fine. OC is overclock yeah. You would need an aftermarket heatsink, if you dont already have one.

Your 5570 is decent.. I dont know if a £100 would really be worth it, or if saving for a £250 would be better. Id go with the latter. But if you did upgrade,

the 5850 or 5870, or if u went nvidia, the 450,470 or 560 ti

@iAppleTechUK The only real problem you could encounter is a CPU bottleneck, due to your CPU speeds being much slower than your GPU speeds. It wont be able to keep up, and limit the performance of your GPU. Getting it up to 3.0ghz is realistic and would probably help. Maybe even higher. You can find threads on it.

@Dalnbramage yeah, having a nice pc makes a world of difference. I have AMD Phenom II 6 core processor and 8 gigs of ddr3 ram. Having dual ATI Radeon 5850s with crossfire and eyefinity running on 3 screens is a good thing too. An ASUS Crosshair IV motherboard is a good foundation to build on as well. All of that fits nicely in my Antec Coolermaster 1200 :) I pet it everyday when I come home. Its so good to me.

@gimmedarkbow What video card do u have? 2 gigs of RAM with vista? Man that must be painful.... First thing I'd do is get 2 more gigs..... You operating system will only see about 3.75 gigs since you only have a 32 bit operating system. Your CPU could be overclocked, depending on what kinda motherboard you have

@gimmedarkbow Is you computer a prebuild? Like a Dell or something? If your PC has a tough time with MW2 it'll have a really tough time with BC2... MW2 isnt very demanding haha.

I would look at getting 2 more gigs of RAM and maybe upgrade your video card if ur powersupply is decent enough.

3: get 2 Gb ram (4 Gb total) and dont forget to install windows 7 (64 bits)

Iv only ever had ATI cards, so I thought I see what the whole physx fuss was all about.....

But supposedly the 5870 is a better performer?

At the end of the day I guess it doesnt matter, whether a game runs at 50 or 60 fps, its still playable!

I game at 1900x1200 however.
