  • I guess this is some sort of outter space kind of show...

  • Great Video..

    Great Work.

  • Star Trek was the best series of series' ever on television, but sadly it has lost much of its fan base. Are there enough real trekkies (not trekkers) out there to keep it going? I, for one, would love to see a post-Dominion war series somewhat akin to TNG. Cough....cough....Titan. I wonder what J. Frakes is up to these days? Imagine what modern CGI could do for trek, if you've seen the last season of DS9, then you have some idea.

  • Ok I have seen this one before but only with the original Star Trek cas and movies. Where can I find that version??

  • Please upload a HQ version...

  • lol... unfortunately, anyone that speaks of themselves in the third person in their item description sorta detracts from the statement.

    We are not amused.

  • This is a masterpiece. Bravo!

  • great pick for that last shot

  • Nice tribute, but no mention of Star Trek: Enterprise?

  • This montage was made in -96. Star Trek: Enterprise started in 2001, five years after.

  • nicely done

  • This rocks.

  • Hard to believe we had digital editors in 1996.

    Nice video. 4 stars.

  • We had, but you can bet they were expensive and the creator of this montage didn't have one. this was probably made with two VCRs, one playing and one recording. Clipping was done with toil and tears, and this one must have taken a days, if not more, of work.

  • Rob is a professional editor of 20+ years and it was edited in one day on an Avid system back in 1996. He also owns/knows every ST episode by heart, so it was easy for him to select moments.

  • We had digital editors in 1990, (CMX 6000, Edit-Droid, Avid) it just took a while for the system to become cost effective and become accepted by the industry.

  • Resolution sucks other than that awesome.

  • Rob, you really are the most devoted star trek fan out there. Pure awesomeness. :-)

  • nice nice

  • Brilliant! This must've taken forever to edit...congrats, it spans all series and the cuts are quick and nice.

  • very very well done. i dont suppose anyone knows where i can watch full episodes online?

  • Pure brilliance. Sx

  • Thats heavy man.

  • increadible..one for the books

  • Totally amazing. By far the best I have ever seen on You Tube. Congratulations.

  • What I especially like about this is it was made way before "Enterprise" was concieved, so there was no need to feel obligated to include clips from that show, which I just prefer to imagine never happened.

  • @rocketdave I so agree with you there. The actors were superb, and the women were hot. However, the writers and producers got sloppy, and tried to rewrite the bible. Not good. Braga, Moore, and Berman all burned out with Voyager and should have overhauled the writing staff, as well as the production staff to give the show a fresh look to it. Also, they should have stayed true to canon.

  • Wow, amazing. Excellent musical choice as well.

  • That was fantastic!

  • Excellent work! Great cross section of clips and nice flow!

  • This was awesome! Thank you for making this. You should make another one with more recent footage as well as Enterprise.

  • You are the same person who made Free Enterprise and that puts you to a high note in my book already but after watching this you have reached another level. This is fantastic. You should continue melding great music with great footage such as this.

  • This is the clearest example of the difference between an amature (99% of the people who post on youtube) and a professional. It's not just a hodge podge of shots thrown together to some music There are themes here The shots are thought out. There is actually a progression. Pleople who want to be editors should watch this. People who think themselves editors should take a good look at this and see how it's really done.

  • Very impressive! A wonderful mix of the best of all that is Star Trek. I loved it! Thanks for posting this.
