I used to have a few as a kid and they were some of the most memorable toys for me personally along with Monsters in my pocket.

I think Hasbro made them in the mid/late 80s.

totally off topic mike but i've been looking for a toy i had from my childhood, a lot of people on youtube say its fail but i loved this toy and i would really like to get one again for my twin boys i'm pregnant with. its sesame st big bird story magic. i was wondering if you had this at all? obviously i cant buy it from you but i just thought it would be kool to see if you have one.

@tiggermad Hi, That was the Talking Big Bird. The are very common on Ebay. I have one with Redman copied onto Cassette Tape so he sings "Pick It Up". He came with other Talking Connectible friends. There was Oscar, Cookie Monster and a few others. Not expensive unless MINT in the Box.

@TheToyChannel lol that would be kool to see. thanks for your help i'll have a look now. i had looked on the UK ebay before and they had 1 that was broken. seems like they may be more common in US than UK lol. i'd still have mine but years ago my mum gave it away to my cousin who broke it. my mum still regrets doing that to this day . anyway, thanks again for all your help with this and your new vids helping me with Christmas idea's lol.
