ive just bought one of these.... diesel, 2003 plate, metallic blue comfort model. its been chipped slightly too, 160bhp and im guessing around 240lb/ft torque based on the figures for this engine and its level of tune when used with the Leon cupra/fr thingy (old shape)

Test drove a 2009 Superb diesel automatic lovely car! shame the seats are to firm for me! I also tried the 2009 Octavia diesel straight after the superb the seats in this car are much more comfortable much nicer car to drive strange but true...............saying that the superb handles the road better but id rather go for the octavia seems more comfortable! The prevoius superb had very comfortable seats but they changed them in the latest car......why?? hope this helps

This is the comfort model, it does not have the built in GPS, and leather seats was not something the owner of the car wanted. It is a luxury model, for the skoda branch, yeah it's no RR or Bentley, but compared. It is really comfortabe to sit and drive in.

yeh im still wiating to get myslef a mk1 fabia 1.9 sdi for my first car. I saw a 2008 superb the other day and WOW, that thing is beautiful. Just as, if not better, looking than any of the large AUDIs. But all of the VW skodas have been awesome. Im sure the soviet era stuff served its purpose, but now Skoda is a world leader, often surpassing VW itself.

sorry for double post, Saab were owned by Scania, but no more, GM own them for about 10 years now, the Aerospace Division of Saab is seperate too. Scania and Saab share the 'Griffon' emblem but thats about it these days.

There is also a larger version of it. The three versions are: Classic, Comfort and Elegance, this one is a comfort, the elegance has wodden panels, colour GPS, and a lot more, and is twice as expensive, and the elegance has a 3.4 V6 engine.

He is right, it is not luxury, it is exectutive, the Laurence and Clement version is one up from Elegence, there are four versions not three.

The Laurence version has better seats, equipment, colour GPS with TV tunur, surround sound radio and so on.

The new version comes out in September as well, which has many new features and design.

For less money you will buy the exact same car as a VW Passat BUT with a extended wheelbase and more luxary! Leather seats are standard on the Elegance versions...in the UK anyway. These cars are excellent value for money, and even the basic versions are more or less fully loaded.

I own a 2.5 V6 Comfort model that is 160bhp
