(cont from below) intentional since he is usually behind a kit. Great drummer by the way. If anything, his stage presence while singing is more like a Jimmy Lindberg but ends up looking like Greg Graffin. In re: to Engrave's sound and his voice, I know for a fact that they were going for a total Pennywise sound versus Bad Religion. Because they all had very thick accents, his attempt to try to sound like Jim sounded more like Greg. These guys were very cool and I haven't listened (cont above)...
(cont from below) Fletcher produced the album while Darian Rundall engineered. I used to frequent the studio a lot and worked there for Darian. I read a lot of comments comparing the sound to Bad Religion and Pennywise obviously. Most people don't know that their lead singer plays drums and sings regularly, I don't know why he isn't in this video or who the drummer is but when they came out here, he was on drums, so the Greg Graffin movement thing I don't believe is super (continued above)
dude, i knew these guys... they literally came all the way from Japan to the U.S. (specifically Redondo Beach, CA) to record at Stall #2 off of 190th St. like way back in,,, hmmm... let's see... shortly after 2000 I believe. anyways, they came to record a self-titled if I remember correctly. Stall #2 was owned by Fletcher Dragge (Pennywise) and Justin Thirsk (98 Mute & brother to late Jason M. Thirsk R.I.P.) along w/ Mark Theodore (Theologian Records) and Byron McMackin (Pennywise). (cont next).
well guys... I love Bad Religion, so I MUST like your music, since it is an exact copy of Bad Religion (except for the singer's bad voice - however, it is obvious that he is trying to copy Greg nonetheless). But he even imitates Greg's motions and the typical "Sit down" and "Watch out"... that's just too much to be taken seriously. I hope you are aware of it and are doing it on purpose, looking at yourself as a BR coverband. Everything else would be a bit rediculous...
