I can't believe how accurate Jonathan Meades is when he says humans will adapt to accept radical modernist architecture, but by then none of them will exist.

The Bull Ring Centre: demolished 1999

ATV Studios: demolished 2008

Martineau Square developments: demolished 2000

NatWest Tower: due to be demolished

Birmingham Central Library: future uncertain

New Street Station/Pallasades: due to be demolished

Auchinleck House, Five Ways: overhauled beyond recognition
