  • i hated the game back then - it was so different compared to 6-8. only dark and eerie + one couldnt fly anymore. i miss good old 6 and 7, theyve been the best!

  • This game is probably the reason why the company went bankrupt....

And this is my rating for the game...

    Design of the monsters 4/10

Design of the structures and the lighting(environment) 9/10

    Story 8/10

1-But the characters wont be shown as wearing the certain items you put on them....

2-The game has so much bugs and even after all of the patches you downloaded to fix the bugs you can still find more bugs...

    3-Game is too short....

    4-Need more might and magic

  • I just wish MM9 was compatible with windows vista or 7 I'm trying to multi boot my computer into windows xp but I'm having trouble finding drivers compatible with xp from 7. any ideas

  • Ive found if u give all ur characters bows on character generation, its kwl, just barrage baddies with 5 arrows ata time XD

  • he's entering a tough part there in the end. could be too hard still for his level.

It's where you go to get Everstrike, the bow, for the ranger promotion.

I had problems with mm9 at first too. But it's worth it to give it another go. realy it is. Once you find out which places to go to first and installed the 1.3 patch to limit the crashes.

rpgenie, as a fan of the MM series. You got to finish this!

  • I agree with GreatEmerald1, I can't wait anymore, I never see the end of this game and I'm a great fan of your Might and Magic walkthrough, I'm a novice walkthrough maker myself (of Rayman 1) but you are better to comment than every walkthrough I ever see. Sorry for my english, I'm french :D!!

  • Aww, the video stopped at the most thrilling time! And no updates for 9 months now... Way to keep up the suspense here :D

  • Can you please continue your MM9 series please? Your videos got me into the MM games.

  • Iron is as pure as can be already. Steel is made by "polluting" the metal with additives; chiefly carbon, though other metals do apply (eg: chromium in stainless steel).

The higher the carbon content, the harder and more brittle the steel. Though the density of, say, A-36 steel (used in construction) is somewhat lower than that of iron, steel armor would mainly be lighter because you need less of it to get the same resilience to blows.

  • steel isnt a metal alloy you noobs stop arguing.

  • hey RPGenie are you ever going to continue this?

  • seeing as might and magic 9 was the worst of the series ( well i played 6,7,8) i'd say no. He probably got sick of it.

  • It really wasnt the worst of the series it was just horribly unfished because of 3do's decline. It is failry diffrent then 6 7 or 8 and so going into 9 from thoese is a bit of learning curve, but most of the same rules apply. (merchant skill, disarm trap etc) its just getting used to the new changes and promotions. Witch at first can be fustrating esppcialy with the bugs (without telps is even worse) so yea why most didnt like it. Take a deeper look and you may find its a alright game. imo

  • this game is ok..but not so good as might and magic 8 or 7 :D

  • Yea i agree the way they did 9 was just horrible trying to make it more 3d was a terrible idea : / might and magic 6 and 8 were my favorites ^_^!!!!

  • intresting and funny to watch, and i havent even played might and magic!

  • hey~ I didn't know that there is a chest behind his seat, very neat.

  • rpgenie please keep making these vids you are the one who got me into might and magic dont stoP!!!!!!!!

  • Steel usually has things other than iron added in, actually, and it's denser than iron. If you have two sets armor, identical in size and shape, and one's steel and one's iron, the steel will be much harder and stronger, but much, much heavier.

  • nope. Steel is Iron with coal mixed together. Because coal is lighter and you have less iron in your suit, steel is lighter.

  • It usually isn't just carbon, (which coal is made of) it could be combined with many things, like tungsten, chromium, vanadium, manganese, and several others. Tungsten and manganese are denser than iron and therefore heavier.

Actually, now that I think about it, we're both right, meaning that it really depends on what is in the mix for how much steel weighs. Chromium, carbon, and vandium are all less denxe than iron, so steel might be lighter without tungsten or manganese. These are often

  • (continued) added, though, because tungsten makes it much tougher and harder, and manganese makes it oxidize much less, meaning it makes it into stainless steel.

  • One reason they consider it lighter is because it can be made thinner than iron, without losing as much integrity or protective ability. Otherwise the weights are so close it really isn't noticeable.

  • you shot that guy in the arse and it killed him

  • That cave bit inside the castle can be tough, since it's home to probably the most broken weapon of the game.

  • Your level of dedication to these great old-school RPGs continues to blow me away.

  • Wow, those guards can take a beating!

  • those balls you shoot.. so freking loud compared to the rest of the sound, same when you are close to the docks

  • steel is lighter than iron and stronger

  • Indeed it is. That's why mediaeval plate armour isn't that heavy.

  • These guards are stupidly strong..i hate them alot.

  • I think steel is alot heavier then iron.

  • Only 10 pounds difference per cubic feet. 480 iron vs 490 steel

  • Heh, it was a guess really, Not really into that kind of stuff, but yeah. I was fairly sure steel was heavier though.

  • Great video as usual!
