  • Hi, kirt here I am an intimidation freak I love the brand I'm using only 1200 to dum other sound system bass.I have to repeat my self I love the intimidation keep doing the not good work but great wonders.

  • Meh koolsound = krk ripoff

  • can u buy them for da usa??? the kool speakers...

  • I have a pair of the 8 Inch model :D They are very good I think, and they sound exceptionally clean for what I paid for :D

  • the kool pear series looks like KRK knock offs, surprised KRK don't file a law suit on them.

same looking drivers, same shape of cabinet, almost same specs, same slotted port. ermmmm

  • I bought myself a pair pearl 8 ;). Its a very clear and great full sound experience you get (Y) really recommend it to all of you

  • Comment removed

  • can someone tell me how they sound, do they come anywhere near real KRK's?!

  • I ordered the KoolSound pearl 8 :D

  • lookin like faked KRKs :)

    but anyway, good speakers!

  • are good the kool sound studio monitors??

  • Whats the cost of this single 500 watt 12"?

  • Every dealer is different but I got mine for just under $500

    It's a strong little speaker.

  • That is some great scores bro... I am jelous!

  • DOOD!

I've got to get me some free gear like that LOL

  • damn love those sinbin,s can you give me a link to ther site

  • they look nice..compering with the us standerd speaker...what speaker and , brand and what would be the M.A.P price here in the US..also who sells them in the us!! let me know

  • I'm guessing they may not be available yet in the US, but if they are sending Brian a pair, then obviously it is in the works. Brian may correct me on this, but it is my guess :)

  • They'd like to offer them here in the states. They should be sending me a rig to see what the intirest level is in the USA &create a bit of buzz as well. CAN'T WAIT!:)

  • They are not available in the USA as of right now. However, I should be getting this rig to perhaps create a bit of buzz on this side of the pond. If enough people show intirest in the states, I think Indimidation wants to make sure we'll get them over here :)

  • Brian,

You stated that 3db more is twice as loud. This is incorrect, The perceived psychoacoustical loudness should double with every 10 dB increase,

What you may be thinking of is that it takes double the power to gain 3db

    - Bochek

  • 2nd that, bochek2 is correct on that. I was going to mention it to, but he beat me to it...hehe... It does take +10dB to double the perceived loudness, but the big benefit in the +3db efficiencey, is like bochek said, it take TWICE the power for every +3dB increase in volume. Unfortunately power input to loudness is NOT a linear thing :( So at 500 watts input, you would need to increase to 1,000 watts to add +3dB, but by coupling, you get it for free :) Free lunch is always good...HAHA!

  • 5:30 i think those are KRK's. just with a different brand. :(

  • They are JUST like KRK, but at a MUCH lower price!

  • very surpised KRK haven't sued you then....

unless there is something missing there, like you got permission from KRK to copy their cabinet design etc.

  • There is nothing dramatically different about this Monitors or a dozen other monitors like it. As far as the use of Kevlar in the cone. Adamson in Canada was using it before KRK. So should they sue KRK?

It's all made in China now anyways.

  • it's not just the kelvar cones though, the look of those kool sound speakers I can tell are trying to be identical to the KRK ones that I have.

    so are the specs.

  • Behrninger is the most known copy cat audio company.

    Behringer truth= Genelec 1031a

Everything they make resembles the exact appeaance of a superior known company.

They even attempt to simulate Marshall Amps.

They have been sued by Mackie, Roland and continue their journey of copying everything possible. Even they have monitors imitating KRK.

  • cannot wait to see the look on the faces of your neighbors when you test out the sinbins....hehehe

  • does anyone know the song that theyed played during the demo of the speakers?

  • Something else about coupling horns, is that you not only get a +3dB gain, but if they use a long enough throat in the design, then they actually play lower. Horns are all about throat length, and mouth area. Throat length determines how low a horn can play, but mouth area is required to use that potential. So when the design incorporates a long throat, then coupling means not only louder, but deeper as well :) That's something a bass reflex cab won't do :)

  • How does it play lower? I know the 3db rule but you have to keep on doubling things up but I cant for the life of me see how it would play lower?

  • Can't explain in 500 characters...LOL... just messaged you. Let me know if that explains well enough :)

  • It's all about the size of the throat in relation to the wavelength of the audio. Bass wavelenths are big, so the bigger the horn throat the better.

  • Well... it's two parts, throat length, and mouth area, and yes, both in relation to the wavelength of the lowest bassline you want to achieve. If the design incorporates a longer throat length than the mouth area of a single horn will support, then coupling two horns together will double the mouth area, and can then take produce the deeper bass that the throat length is capable of. Horns are sometimes intentionally designed this way, and are meant to be used in pairs :)

  • Hey Brian, I'd like to see the details on that video where he shows the bin cut in half. Curious how comparable the design is to what I have. I'm going to send you a message soon, please watch for it? The 12" drivers I use are of about the same nature, 4" coil, monster magnet, pricy driver. If these Sinbins are of a good design, it would be nice to have an alternative to suggest to people who would rather buy than build :) They look somewhat similiar at first glance :)

  • Johnathan has one of thoes cross-section bins he'll be doing videos on very soon.

  • Brian, before testing those subs in your new house, make sure your homeowner's insurance is paid up!

  • Oh yeah, in fact, I called Wavey Davey B today about putting together that policy (Wavey does insurance as his day job)

  • LOL, I remember that Wavey was an Insurance Guy from another video, just make sure that "Bass Damage" is covered. ;)

  • You are so blessed! lucky dog!!! so when can come over and tear up the new crib? of course for the remodel?

  • HA! I close a week from today. Once I'm in, you are always welcome to stop by and play with the toys in the new dungeon any time. There will be some suprises down there as well so Stay Tuned!

  • Yo Brian you always get hooked up! Good on you buddy! Have fun with the speakers and do them justice with the reviews if deserved!

  • Speaking of a Hook Up, it seems someone got quite a nice Pioneer prize at BPM! Congrads on that one! You'll love the Pioneer set-up :)

  • 20TH VIEWER!!!

  • bloody hell all dat new kit. Free intimidation system and monitors, its christmas come early for isn't it!!!
