@TommeyReed lol wrong, hho is much much more explosive then gasoline.. you need much less.. and lookup permanent magnet altenators.. normally used for marine engines or homemade wind turbines... some put out in excess of 2 kilowatts and require very little in the way of hp... might want to check them out.. My rig is pulling 180 watts and putting out 1.8 kilowatt.. Pretty neat, same size as normal car alternators
Have you read the book "World Hydrogen View" by Roger Billings? I just read it yesterday and learned a lot. It seems you can run an engine entirely on hydrogen without retarding the timing with low oxides of nitrogen and no backfiring as long as you use water injection properly. you don't want to over tightin it cause then your putting to much stress on the bolts

why dont you use some small metal clamps and place them over the electrical tape for some rigidity.
