  • @dwolfe71 most people that are related to the African Yoruba religiously in the Caribbean speak broken Yoruba. Most won't even know what they are saying they just repeat words they were "taught".

  • interesante, pero hubo varias cosas que no cuadran... como que comenzaran con Oshun, que esa Oshun tuviese el cabello corto y la risa que no es como la de la Iya mi(siempre es mas aguda y fuerte que eso...)/interesting, buet there were some things out of place... like they starting with Oshun, the short hair the Oshun dancer sports y the dry laughter which is not like the one the Iya mi uses (high pitch and stronger)

  • @edvandekamp FOLKLORICO.... era una interpretacion FOLKLORICA de lo que es, solo para que las personas asistentes (catolicos de la 3ra edad) pudieran tener una idea..

  • @olozunde la verdad, no existe tal cosa como una critica "constructiva"... existen las criticas, la intención y la forma en la que se toman. Mi intervención podría tomarse como algunos apuntadores que se podrían tomar para mejorar la presentación. Aparte, en función a la anterior respuesta, si se va a hacer una representación FOLKLORICA lo mas adecuado es que se haga tomando en cuenta la liturgia... no solo montar algo por montarlo... eso me parece una falta de respeto para la audiencia...

  • For those of you who don't know the Yoruba are from Nigeria and number over 50 million worldwide and comprise of over 80% of all slave in slave trade hence the influence of their culture in ALL of the carribean and south america!!!!!!!! and in the American south where vodoo / santeria is practiced. WOW this is amazing cause my wife who is pure Yoruba from Nigeria thought I was lying that her language is spoken in carribean and south america!!!!!!!!
