YEEES, I feel so relieved now after so long, I remember when I begun to study all of this and having gone crazy! Looks so much easier now, thanks for the video!
oh god i am soooo far behind in learning kanji....but i know my whole hiragana and katagana ^-^....but i dont know much kanji at all :(...very very very little...only a few symbols i kno :(
what is your opinion about "kanji mnemonics" book? I realized reading the book that kanjis with same origin have same "on" reading.
English language is the only language with a Latin alphabet that works like kanjis (a word have diferents sound and meanings, therefore each words need a pronouncing); like "read", "do", "bass" and "wind".

are you sure about the katakana used in 'ikkagetsu mae'? i thought that one was 'ke'.
incidentally i've just subscribed because these videos are awesome.
dannidandannikins 3 years ago
I have not seen any "katakana", I think you mean "kana" or "hiragana".
Also 1 have no "ke" sound: i, ichi, istu and hito.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the comments.
For this use, talk about number of months, you have to pronounce "ka" rather than "ke" though in Katakana "ke" is used.
Strange? Well, that's the way it is. : )

Practice! Practice!
がんばって!
snapkitten 4 years ago
gunbatte hm x3
I wonder how do you pronounce it without that っ cause がんばて would be the way how i would write it (witch is wrong)
mickderkskouta 4 years ago
say it like this: gam-bat-teh
How about that? Hope it helps. :)

Ahh i see ^_^
So that っ makes double t =P
Thats needed since there are no single t's in hiragana (i guess)
Thnx =D
