sounds great man, about to order one,got a question. Im using an apogee audio interface with one input, how would i connect this to the audio interface?would i need to connect both comp outs to seperate inputs? im not using a mixer.

@alabama2830 Thank you. I donot own Apogee AI, therefore, I don't know how it will work best with Apogee AI. Normally, if you directly connect it to AI, you just simply use Right or Left Channel of Line Outputs. One audio input is needed.

im not up to par on pre-amps, but would like one for recording. will this pre-amp go direct into my interface? or will i have to run it through a cab? and if both are possible which one would sound the best?

@weinzhell You have three options: 1. Connect Headphone Out of e530 to your line-ins, by this way, you will record the sound using simulated cabinet of e530; 2. Connect line out of e530 to Power Amp -> real cabinet, by this way, you have to use your own mic; 3. Connect line out of e530 to line-in of audio interface, and then use impulses or cab simulator plugins. IMO, the 2nd and 3rd all result in excellent sound.

@ultraboldofficial Dont listen to this man. DONT connect headphone out to your interface if you dont want to brake it! And the headphone out DONT have simulated cabinet!! You got 4 outs on this thing. two unbalanced without cabsim and 2 freq companseded outs with cabsim.

@dsl100stack For Metal stuffs, go with E530! You will not be disappointed. We have listened numerous great tones from e530.

This clip is the best I've heard on youtube as far as showcasing the e530, is it just DI'd in to your soundcard and recorded? How many guitar tracks on each side?

@valexander Thank you! The DIs came from a guy named lolzgreg (we didnot record the DIs). Reamping chain: DAW->Audio Interface (TC Electronic K24D) -> e530 -> Carvin DCM1500 -> Cabinet -> SM57 -> Audio Interface -> DAW . There are total 2 rhythm guitar tracks (1 L and 1 R, 85% panned). Hope this helps!
