@thatwaspainful5 no a 50 degree truck would give you a 60 degree front, which would make your turning all funky. You could run randals 42 degrees just great. Or caliber 44's. I just bought some caliber 44's and chinook as well
Hey ive been longboarding for three years, wanna learn how to slide, and I love to just cruise the streets of my town. Is this a good board for that? Or should I look for something else? Please help! I need advice

Hi all, please check out Longboarding Brisbane. We are a new channel and are very grateful for some views. Please help us out, thanks :) youtube.com/user/BrisbaneLongboard
@xboxman100yyy looking at all the attention their Eh' racing team put into this longboard maybe experienced people maybe the ones that can pull out the best out of this board... but technically a beginner shouldn't have any problems learning in it... i think :S
i really want this board.. :D the old chinook had wedging at both end , now its only at the front.. so it sacrifice its turning radius for more stability.. is it just me or this board kinda have the same setting like Evo ?
@X3rztesp Well there will be no 2012 evo so the chinook is basically the new evo, but its an inch shorter, has alot more concave as well as the w concave. also the front and back is rounded at the end and the evo is flat
@X3rztesp you actually get a sharper turning radius when the back is dewedge. It's similar to the evo but smaller, less drop, and less wedging like it should be
@Muzicizmalife15 get used to being comfortable putting your foot placement and keep practicing the slide your trying to learn.. btw i have this board and i can slide preety good and i love this board alot
@chancerbob95 ya i weigh like 160 but im not fat lol and ya nvm i found out today that if im going fast and do a slide i leave marks like nothin. thx on the info anyways :D
@maxmax643 i have a switch also and like almostbog said its the wheels that leave lines but also u have to slide far/fast enough to get the wheel to shave off so if ur only sliding like 5-10 ft it polly wont leave lines and it helps to b a heavy dude to leave big lines. also if ur doing hands down slides like colemans its less likely to leave thane cuz there isnt much weight on the wheels. hope that helped
@maxmax643 Thane lines. what wheels are you using? A harder wheel will not make lines cuz it is mostly skipping over the pavement while with a softer wheel you are actually shaving the rubber off
i have a carving board at the moment, im SOOO sick of wobbles, so im thinking about downhilling on this board. but would by light carvy bamboo board be good for sliding with proper wheels? :l
Anyone with this board have any thoughts on it? I was gonna get it with Surf Rodz RKPs and Cult Death Rays. I've already got a vendetta for free riding so this set up would basically be for DH only. Anyone agree/disagree with this idea?
Positively amazing board. I got mine with blue 84 a 76 mm monster hawgs and precision bears. I got mine just in time as we were heading for the east coast of Canada, so naturally I have been able to test almost everything about it. Downhill nothing beats it pure perfection, but if your more carving or early grab its not to bad for that either actually surprisingly nimble. We even tried it on the cabot trail its very stable even at high speeds 40 mph plus. Well that was my scattered review lol
Please tell me If the White 80a Zombie Hawgs are good for downhill because i'm doing a Race in a few weeks time and my other Race wheels are fucked. So could something tell me if the 80a Zombie Hawgs are good for downhill? Yes or No
@SouthStokedFilms Zombie Hawgs are meant more for freeriding, especially sliding. If you want to go with the LY brand, I'd go with the 80a Monster Hawgs instead, they are grippier than the Zombies.
