Tried it at GC. Nice for passives for $2,800. Flattest neck ever, but I love my ESP standard Viper 7's neck better $1,600. Please learn to play soon. Неплохо! \../
I feel ashamed to say this but I don't know where the first lick is from Ó,..,ò, sounds like Nevermore maybe?? Great playing! I'm trying to choose between a JP BFR 7-string and a JP XI7 atm x.x
@Xiacro haha, it's all good. It is "To rid the disease" by the fantastic Opeth. Thanks for the nice comments. Dude, it's such a great guitar! I have yet to play the X7, but I can only assume that it is a great guitar!
@Maason15666 Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to play one yet, but I have played the 6 string version, and... I don't know what to say. It is pretty close to what I think the perfect guitar is!
@hopeguitarcanada Yea that's what the dudes from Born of Osiris say about these guitars...that they're simply the best guitar they've ever played. I want one so bad now, ha.
@hopeguitarcanada it may be not what you can do.....but this video its iritating...no matter how well can you play or how great the guitar is......its just a showoff 4 the guitar.....pointless to me
@NickTzoutzoukos I understand completely were your coming from. This and my Ibanez video were just comparisons for me. I had just made my account, so I though I might as well throw them up. I have been meaning to post new videos, but I have a little performance anxiety (not the best thing to have as a musican, I know). Hopefully I will post a new video soon that is musical, and maybe you might like it.
i was looking into getting a sevenstring. i have a marshall combo amp. I'm kind of stuck between this guitar and a jeff loomis signature (basically a schecter c7) which would you prefer? i play mostly metal but i want to get into some jazz
@spartan11717 For overall guitar, I would definitely go for a petrucci! It isn' the most feasible guitar though. That being said, the Loomis is a great guitar (Side note: Jeff Loomis is so sick! I'm pretty sure he is a mythical creature, definitely one of my favorite guitar players)! I'm not a big fan of emg's, expect maybe in 8-strings. That is just preference though. If you have the money I would go for the petrucci! There isn't a 7-string I would rather have, Expect a PRS.
@mohhaully It is indeed! I was actually going to get a schecter c7! The thing is that I play an engl powerball, which has a pretty outrages amount of gain to begin with! With active pickups, there just was to much saturation, and not enough warm, and lacked dynamics. That's not to say it's a bad guitar, just for preference I don't like emg's with such I high gain amp. It is a great quality guitar, and I loved the way it sounded with my marshall! Hope that can help you.
Not just the gear...even that guitar can be tough to get, at least in Europe. I've had to settle for the non-BFR version, which is awesome although it looks quite plain. Not because of price, but I have no idea where to even start looking for something else.
@cassalinson Thanks man. I've worked pretty hard on my sweeping, and as you can see, my other techniques arn't quite up to snuff lol. Thanks for the positive feedback.
I'm loving that "Glass Prison". its an awesome guitar, probably the best 7 string out there, but how does the regular JP7 stack up against the BFR JP7 that you're playing?
@vbdude006 thanks man. It is an amazing guitar! They are very similar guitars. They only main differences are the arm fest, which is cut out on the JP7, the unfinished neck, and different woods. I prefer the finished neck on the BFR. Aesthetically it Find the BFR much nicer. All in all the standard is great, and it really depends on personal preference. I hope that helps.
@MrXorHomer Hmm guitars are very much personal preference, I have a standard JP7 and I love it, the piezo system is very nice since I dislike playing acoustic guitars :P
Hey man. Its a great overall guitar. I'm hoping to pick it up in a couple of weeks. The neck is very slim, Kinda like an Ibanez, but I find it more comfortable. As the fretboard isn't flat like an Ibanez, which is a big win for me. My only compliant, which isn't even that big is that the body is flat. I'm use to a Paul Reed Smith style arch, But that is easy to a just to. Hope that helps, and I hope you liked the video.
Hey man, I'm thinking about buying one of these. What did you think about the feel of the guitar in terms of the playing ability of the neck. The overall guitar? Thanks
nice hair!

@Ikillpeopleforfree It's not the flattest neck ever, and the BFRs are not $2800 new. A Dean USA RC7G has a flatter neck for example.

@5amuu You should check out some schecter's, there pretty sweet. The next are kinda large, but the play really well.
