@SparkysTwigMusic he's explained his idea of a lesson before on some of his other videos. for him lesson means more like aid. Since different people learn differently this could be considered a lesson; however if you need tabs to go along with it, then this would just a visual/audio aid. I don't know how long you've been playing, but once you have a couple years behind you, this would be enough. At least from my perspective it is. I'm not trying to insult, just explain (just making that clear).

In case anyone has not noticed, this one is John Mayer.

First, he tells him that the channel has never had a band. Do you really think a guy who plays so well has never been a band?!

Second, he has all those guitars that Fender John Mayer has to have these guitars all the guy has to have a lot of money, and he would not invest so much money if I had not the band or if there was already a musician.

Third, it has a lot of equipment.

Fourth, how it looks.

Conclusion, it is John Mayer.

Awesome tone dude, sounds real nice. It's really all in having a tube amp with proper pedal. Any fender amp(Deluxe, Princeton, Super Reverb, etc) with a tubescreamer (T9 or even better TS808) sounds amazing. JM has played a lot of gigs with that combo before he went to the crazy expensive Two Rock setup.

I think your are awesome and I don't play any instrument. Just a music and sound avid follower and all I can say is, slow down, the tone is great but it feels a little paced.

GOD! can you guys just play by ear or follow his hands movements? Good enough he played it SLOW for all of you..be thankful and dont beg for TABS because it doesnt help your earing skills.

@HannahZepplg it's a lesson for a little more advanced players or players with time on their hands to mess around with it a little. more of a helpful guide. you can learn alot by just watching people play.

@Scaraphobic Stick guitar into amp. I'm on a marshall mg30 so i use clean channel, what bass up pretty high, leave the treble around the mid, shove a generous amount of reverb, then fiddle with the knobs on the guitar until you find the right consistancy. It's very much a trial and error process :P

The intro is made by two parts put together! at the first one you start playin' 9/11 (a-string), that's correct! :) but the second time, you have to play 6/11 (d-string) instead :) Sorry for correcting you! love the belief solo! I need to learn that! :)

like the reverb. Good authentic sound. Maybe some tremelo. I use my Line6 tremelo and it sounds pretty close. Nice playing.
