I have not turned away from any of my friends because of my attraction to Bhakti Yoga. I'm not sure what you are talking about there. I would run from anyone who tried to cut me off from the people that I love.

Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (in India, about 500 years ago) taught that this is the prescribed method for coming to know God in this historical age.
