To me, guitar playing is about feeling and not so much technique. The memorable concerts i had attended are the heart felt one's, not the so call skills and not the fancy gymnastics they do with guitars. Not interested in that stuff.

The Cmaj7 is played through the "verse" and the Am is only at the very end of what can be considered the "chorus". I saw Santana play this in Las Vegas last fall (third row) and saw it live done like that.
