The Occupy protesters had a good cause at first, but they are all full of shit now. Protesters forcing people from their places of work, blocking people from getting to work, blocking people from taking money out of banks, harassing police, causing public and private property damage, and all in all just hurting this economy more.

Say this to any of the workers you're taking money from and say that the loss of money for their families is "alright". Tell them that their families don't matter because that's what you're telling me by ignoring what I said. The problem I have with the OC as compared to the Tea Party stuff though is that the ingnorance has joined with violent acts. The ignorance on the TP side didn't seem to go much beyond any particular dumbass calling people names. I also went to 2 TP rallys and each time I saw people confronting those they felt were out of line. Never saw that at the OC I went to. Seems all messages were acceptable there.

The Occupy protesters had a good cause at first, but they are all full of shit now. The main stream media is basically only covering the police brutality (which isn't excusable for them to do at all). Here in California it's a mad house. The problem I have with the OC as compared to the Tea Party stuff though is that the ingnorance has joined with violent acts. The ignorance on the TP side didn't seem to go much beyond any particular dumbass calling people names. I also went to 2 TP rallys and each time I saw people confronting those they felt were out of line. Never saw that at the OC I went to. Seems all messages were acceptable there.

@BillKiernan The main difference between the tea party and OWS, is that one is a sporadic natural movement, the other is an astroturf movement started by members of the 1%.
I mean how can you call the tea party a grass roots movement when you have million dollar key note speakers, announcement of the events run 24/7 on Fox News, bus tours... gimmie a break.

@TheR0USes He doesn't mean to say tea partiers, and the educated among them, are dumb people. Rather, he's saying that in every movement there are FAR more blind followers (who are not well informed on even their OWN choice in political belief) than there are well informed, logical believers.
Being a tea partier (as much as crazy liberals and dumb Occupiers would like you to believe) are not inherently evil. But neither are all Occupiers retarded. It just looks that way.

LOL, she watched too many movies are didn't do enough research I think... hunter/gatherer is not as easy as it seems, and like the guy said A LOT of people would die because they have no clue how to live that kind of lifestyle. Being 19 years old and loving the outdoors, I have always sort of wanted to try it. Maybe once the monetary system collapses? :D
