What is the battery life like? I'm guessing it will be longer with the ssd.

@HEN000y Battery life lasted longer than the Hard drive of course. Though, it's an old battery that I'll have to replace as well.

@jcejas yes please. i would defefnetly want to buy it. my ipod is harddrive dead, it wont go past 15 GB of music or videos, so ama use this method to change the harddrive to a new one.

I may be acquiring an video ipod classic 160GB and it got crunched and bent the back of the case and messed up the HDD. I ( might do this mod if I can find that little adaptor and maybe a 32GB or more CF card. tarkan period info has an adaptor like this. (change period to a dot.) I wish they would sell this stuff at stores like walmart.

@MrHouTian I believe so, though the iPod Classic's are pretty hard to open without warping/bending the metal too much, so it probably won't look as pretty when losing it back up. Also, it'll usa a completely different adapter, which I do not know where to find.

Hehe nice, I was wondering if the HK adaptor was any good... I guess I have my answer. Still waiting for my CF card to come through the mail. Had any problems with the card? I read bad reviews about the Kingston online, but not on iPod HD replacement.

@danvov Actually I haven't had any problems up until recently.

I'm unsure wether it's the adapter or the Kingston. If I get a fix fro it, I'll re-Vlog it

Wow neat! Hmm, are the nano's any harder to fix? They don't pop open like that ipod does. I'm thinking of fixing it..........the click wheel broke on mine when it somehow made it's way into the washing machine. ((oopsie))  Haha.

Yeah the nano's seem much harder to fix, because they are so Tiny. Idk though, I haven't cracked one open. I'll have to try that out though.
