Might & Magic Clash for DS gameplay footage

Apologies if this is a stupid question. Is this made by

1) 3DO (who released a series called Might and Magic before the DS was even thought of - possibly unconnected with this because this looks nothing like the old Might & Magic games)

2) The same company that made "Lost Magic" also for the DS? (the graphics, gameplay and art style all seem similar)

@JaiNobesIsARat It's the same franchise, yes. 3DO is now bankrupt and doesn't exist anymore. Ubisoft owns the Might and Magic franchise, as well as Lost Magic.

this is a great game. Perfect amount of strategy, puzzle, and combat. Haters will always hate because of the title and hidden complexity. Don't judge a game based upon the first minute of gameplay.

It's one of the best puzzle games for the hand-helds, if you don't like puzzle games of course you won't like it. Don't assume it sucks people.

wow...at first I thought this game was gonna be awesome...but after seeing the fight this game is lame....

I didn't even bother finishing the video just stopped at 1:32.

The battle mode looks like an old old old arcade game space invaders or something...where you move your ship left or right and fire a straight shot at the aliens...

It's a puzzle game and it is not "Heroes of might and magic", so don't expect it to be like the PC games -_-''
