  • Yeah, THANK GOD for the winter!! yeee haw!!

  • Actually, it's an elbow :)

  • "Sort of a finger of land..." Well, it's more of an arm, flipping the bird to England. Very appropriate too... So in essence, it gave England a bit more than the finger, but to the same end. @#$& you England! I'm sure THAT'S how the Pilgrims felt.

  • I live on cape cod and f******* hate it here

  • i go up to Cape Cod every summer, sometimes in the spring and once in the fall. I love it there! It's full of nature and there are so many ways to enjoy everything that mother earth gives us, including whale watches (and bird watching), seals, the Pilgrim's Monument which give you an incredible view of the cape and so many other ways to just relax and enjoy yourself!

  • Provincetown was the Pilgrims first landing spot in the New World, it has the second largest natural harbor in the world, 2nd to Port Shegal in France. It was also the signing place of "The Mayflower Compact" which is the first democratic document gaurenteeing a government of the people for the people. Essentialy a blueprint of all modern democracies. Its a historically important place in many ways. They gay pop. has its roots in the world renown bohemian artist pop. of the early 20th century.

  • @tecate40 Poole Harbour is the second largest natural harbour in the world.

  • @tecate40 WRONG encounter beach in eastham was actually the first landing of the pilgrims... there was no fresh water so they moved on

  • Hyannis is the hub of the Cape, in the sence that it has all the chain stores and shops, the largest population, and highest crime rate. It also serves as the main transportion hub with an airport, island ferry and largest bus depot. But culturally, Hyannis is losing its ground. The outer cape (including Provincetown) are the most rural and natural areas of the cape, with the National Seashore encompassing as much as 2/3's of some towns. Provincetown, has a large gay population but not 90%.

  • I thought Hyannis was the hub on the Cape?

  • I live on Cape Cod and have my entire life. This is not a very accurate account of the Cape and Province town is certainly not the center of the Cape. I's the actually quite the opposite as it's the farthest point out!

  • provincetown is 90% fags living there. the rest are tourists

  • I love capecod the bike capecod rail to tral from dennis to wellfleet is very nice. I live in southern NJ but have visted the cape for 5 years i a row usully in fall after labor day. Pjs in wellfleet is a great resteraunt/dinner also. Great burges and chowder.

  • Eek! Hope this doesn't ruin my chances. I'm doing Cape Cod for my contest entry. Kinda nervous to post a video about the same place that the creator of Lonely Planet posted one about! :)

  • @AskCarrieLee Don't worry- this guy missed all the best points about the Cape.... I mean, come on! whale watching (and a view of a notorious head shop) in P-town and the Mayflower? The Mayflower isn't even on the Cape! You can't help but do better! Good luck!

  • pretty cool

  • Ah!

So Lonely Planet are only interested in American customers and not the other 95% of the world's population?

    OK :-D

  • that fun

  • hi im from Guatemala CA, i spent my honey moon in cape cod april 2009, is a beautiful place province town is nice too....

  • Shop Therapy SUX!!!!

  • capecod is kinda like this guys shirt, old and boring

  • i looove cape cod

  • I live on Cape Cod.... quit clogging out road ways with your terrible driving. J/K but seriously go slow, there are a lot of narrow roads here.

  • @randomted OK - but don't end a sentence with a preposition, randomted.

  • LOL Cape Cod will be struck first when WWIII happens. :D but on a serious note. Very beautiful. I don't think it's as nice as Northern California coast but it does have older homes and that's nice. Hope to visit it some day with the family. Good vid

  • I've been to that beach he shows, it's called Mayflower Beach and it's in West Dennis.

  • Oh, very nice!

  • I used to spend my summers there as a kid. Great memories. Unfortunately I spent the summer there the year Jaws was released. Needless to say there were not a lot of people going in to the water. They just stayed on the beach.

  • needs more actualities, and less of your face.

  • I live here. Great place to have your kids in school, but property is too expensive.

  • Live here :) and it sucks during the winter..... except NO TOURISTS!!!! :D

  • Agreed winters weather sucks but no tourist is the best thing.

  • nice video... i want to go there so bad.

  • Bunch of snobs. Provincetown? Cranky old locals who sold out to dizzy slickers and then complain and blame about the tourists, rich people and expensive lawn mowing until the tourists leave and then, uh oh, they feed on each other. Cup of coffee will cost you big time. Once you are there, you are trapped as it's the end of the line on the cape so bring folding money or else you'll be out of town at sundown with a blowtorch on your ass.

  • i live near the cape :P

  • Great place to go, nice summer vacation spot. Tad expensive, but overall a good environment to spend a week or two. Especially the outer cape

  • Good introduction of different scenery. Seems like an exciting places to visit.

  • i live there

  • FERST!

  • Mom?

  • SON?

  • first!

  • you should hire ian back and pay him alot and he could bone justine, even though i think hes gay like u
